Nowadays, call center is one of the biggest booming industry which requires no proof of university diploma as long as you have an accent and capable of working with so much stress, then YOU'VE GOT A JOB.. Was it mean that for those graduate people who work in a call center were those desperate one's who haven't got a job inline with the study they took 4 or 5 years and called it "waste of money and time"?.. Or an opportunity with those people who were not given a chance to finish their university and yet have a strong will and accent capable for the job?

Did you ever try applying for a call center job? I mean with big companies and not just some so-called call center companies that caters inbound calls only? Try it yourself then you will find if,4-5 years course is worth for that job or not. Then, you can say to yourself that...4-5 years is not enough to learn the right/correct English pronunciation, grammar, liaisons, pitch and intonation not to mention the accent. Accent is to neutralized the regional accent, to sound and pronounce the words correctly. Call center is not for the desperate graduates or non-professionals. It is the most challenging job- in what manner? It is the only job that requires you to speak and use the English language all the time.(all the time, not for 5 mins, but the whole 8 hours of working time)

I don't think call center agents work and stressed their head out because they are desperate in finding a job after finishing their college degree. I think people are willing to work in this kind of industry because of the pay.

You have a point, but don't you see that there is a lot of graduate people working in a call center that if given a chance to work in different field they are much willing to quit and change? Moreover, there are really some people choose the job for they were paid high..

Hello Clash! Having a job in our times, take a lot of effort both for getting and maintaining it. You may call both kind of people fortunate. he one with no studies, because he can get some income for suporting his familly, and the one with studies, because he gets some income to for suporting his family, and with the knowledge aquired during the years of study he enriched his soul, and of course he will have more options for answer to the questions his child will put :D
