Well, all things considered, studying can be a very tedious task to undertake. It is very hard to get motivated under certain circumstances to get what we need done completed. There is just something in the back of our minds that prevents us from getting focused and getting what needs to be accomplished done, even if we only need to study a slight amount or a lot, depending on circumstances.
I think studying can be a bit easier if it is a subject that we enjoy. However, when it becomes a job, it becomes like any other job. Difficult and tedious, full of tasks that we would rather not do. Still we have to do it and we have to study. That is just a part of life and something that we unfortunately have to deal with if we want to excel in this world that we live in.

Rallon has a very good point.
Just to add to that though, I also believe that the environment where you're studying affects the person. By environment, I'm also implying, the place and the people around you. Without the right focus and concentration, it's going to be pretty hard to get things done.
Have the right goals set in mind and know what your priorities are.

When people find it difficult to study, it means that they don't really care about the subject in which they are being taught. If you study subjects that you are interested in, you will undoubtedly find them much easier to learn. The same goes for reading. Many people say that they don't care for reading, but the truth is, they just are reading about the things that interest them the most. Life is about doing what you are interested in the most. That makes for a much easier learning curve.
