Parents, do your kids put on your shoes and walk around in them? My kids have all done this. My youngest daughter puts on my shoes, her daddies shoes and her older sister's and brother's shoes. She will walk in them. It looks so silly. I get so tickled to see her walking in shoes that are weigh too big for her small feet. She will have my big clogs on. And her father's bed slippers on too. She loves walking in our shoes it excites her to do this.

Hi Cream,
I think children will imitate what the parent do. My son too will wear her mother high heel shoes and walk around. My wife keep stop him scared that he might like women stuff like skirt and high heel shoes.

Hey Cream! That's funny! My daughter and granddaughter both wore my shoes when they were small. My daughter, who is now 38, still barrows my shoes from time to time. I hadn't thought of that before. How cute! They grow up so fast too. They love to immitate us don't they? What to be grown up.

All of my children went through a faze, where as they all use to try to walk in stiletto high heeled boots that i use to wear years ago.At one stage i was getting rather worried about my son,as he prefered my boots, rather than his dads boots.I think the reason my children liked to wear my boots was due to the noise that they could get them to make on the ground.

Yes, mine all did too. The girls all clunked around in my dress shoes. I remember my son, who was only two at the time, put on his grandfathers big rubber boots. These boots came right up to the top of his legs, he had one on right and the other with the toes pointing backwards, I took a picture of course, I call it my rubber boot boy, much to my son's dismay. He is seventeen now and is not as amused with the picture as I am, but it so cute.

Dear friend,
Yes, I had seen my sister's son putting our shoes and chappels and walking around. My sister's son is just 4 years old, he says he want to become big soon. Moreover it is really something very much innocent to see him walking with it.

Hi,
Sometimes, when I buy new shoes back home, my son will
put it on and walk few rounds at home. I don't allow him
to wear my shoes/sandal as he is a boy and he is not supposed to
wear on girl's shoes/sandal. I don't want
him to have this bad habit.

Both of my children used to do this when they were younger. it was quite entertaining for everyone when they did it. It just doesnt have the same humor when they get older.

Hi Cream, I don't have my own kids yet but few years ago, I used to live with my uncle's family. They have 2 little boys that time, the elder was one and half a year and the younger was 9 months. Everytime my uncle came back from work, they will start fighting for his big size shoes, they would wear it and start walking around as if no one is watching or it's not going to make someone laughs at all. The younger one also liked to put on his father's sun glasses, and it made him look so funny because the sunglasses were bigger than his face. Another one that really made me laughed so bad was, when their mother was tiding up their clothes in the bedroom, without realising it, the elder one took one of my uncle's underwear and put it on his head as a hat. My uncle saw it and said, "hey hey hey, give it to me, you can't do that. give it to me give it to me" while laughing he was trying to get the underwear from the boy. He was quite embarrassed maybe because he had 2 friends from work visiting that day lol. The elder kept on running away and laughing thinking maybe it was really funny because my uncle was laughing too.

LOL!! That is too cute!! My 1 1/2 year old daughter does the same thing!! It is too adorable. She truly enjoys playing with other's shoes.. but she'll only play with me, my mom's and my dad's lol. She is now toting around a pocketbook. And the funniest thing is.. she knows what is supposed to go in it!! She has her play cell phone, her keys, her pacifier and the rest of her toys!! It is too cute.

This is my almost 2 year olds, newest trick. She prefers my shoes, but will put on daddy's if mine are all put away. I know that my mom is planning on buying a dress up kit for her birthday which is about 2 months away. My daughter has been obsessed with shoes since she could walk. If we have guests, she will bring them their shoes. she thinks all feet need shoes.

I don't have any children, myself. However, I used to play dress up when I was little and I would walk around in my mother's or my older sisters' shoes. I don't remember them ever getting tickled at me but I'm sure they did. I guess it makes your little girl feel grouwnup to wear these shoes, lol! I bet it is funny!

Hi cream
My kids are grown up, but my granddaughter Subhee , just three years young now, is expert in this art, she wears slippers of my wife and her mom most of the days, walks in the drawing room, lawn, at times slips and harms her knees..
last week she was moving wearing my sandal lol..
Thanks for sharing. Cheers.

I've done that when I was a child, I use my sister's shoes with heels or any shoes that I've seen and walk with it. I preferably pick the one with heels that's why I grew up familiar with heels but not that so tall heels.

Oh yes even my son did that when he was younger. I suppose it makes them feel grown up for the moment, imitating us as they walk.
