I think your children love you if they still gives concern to you, confessing all the problems they have, and seldom talking and making jokes to each other. In other words, even in their busiest time, they still manage to have time with you.

My children tell me each and every day that they love me. However, every now and again, my oldest (who is 21) will tell me "mom, I really do love you" He often tells me how much he appreciates all that I have done for him and that I did a very good job raising him. It brings me to tears each and every time he tells me that. My other two children are 14 and 12, so they do tell me they love me and I can tell that they do, but because they aren't adults yet I don't get the wonderful speech that my oldest boy gives me.

tO be honest w/u sometimes u don't. I have two grown sons w/family themselves & there has been incidents the last couple of years that have made me wonder if they love me at all. It is a very sad place to be when u have thoughts like that about your own children. I'm not blaming their wives at all but they have changed since they have had wives.

well, in my family's case everyone who knows my parents could see how much we love them. we take good care of them, respect and make sure they won't struggle at any point for any reason. =)

I am not yet too old and my kids are too small. But I guess, when I grow old I can say that they love me if I can see the same affection in their eyes. When they still manage to see me, be with me, have a coffee with me in spite of their busy days.

I know for a fact that my 6 year old boy will love me when he grows old because i'm showing him a pure love of a mother and i'm setting a good example. If i show him that i love him this much then he will show it to me then when i'm old. I just can say it because i can feel it.
