What news shows have you watched? I have watched four of them and my daughter picked two of them. First my picks: Blue Bloods this is a good shows about New York cops on Friday Nights and a good one to check out. My other pick Chase isn't good. My daughter picked No Ordinary Family, which is a good choice for the entire family. Its very well casted with several people you will all know from other shows. The father on 7th Heaven is going to be seen in a different way now. *ellcats is alright, but very predictable. What new shows have you watched? Anything we should watch?

I got roped into No Ordinary Family, too, and I like it. I also picked up The Defenders because I thought it would be funny--it's not but it seems interesting and I'll watch another episode before I decide. I watch way too much TV now. When I had surgery last year and couldn't do much I watched a lot of TV and got into that bad habit. I'm stuck on NCIS, Bones, Supernatural, Lie to Me (although I can't stand the male lead for some reason), and a few more. That's WAY too much TV!!

Dragon54u, That is why I gave up on Lie to Me. I found him so annoying. I hate how he tilts his head and walks.

When I had surgery at the beginning of the year my television was on day and night. I'm better now and trying to watch a little less television and get outside walking.

Trace, I hate how his mouth is always hanging open. I don't know why that irritates me so much but it does! And the character is so obnoxious--does he ever shave?!

Well I have to watch Dancing with the Stars....that's my favorite program and if it played every night I would watch it.....I do like No Ordinary Family too...in fact the first week I really wished they had another hour on! Watched it last night too...very good show!

No Ordinary Family had me wanting another hour this week. I do really think this one will be here awhile. Its good to see a show with a couple of actors that I had always seen as "good guys" on past television shows. The actor from Everwood and 7th Heaven sure are on the bad side of the law in this one.

"No Ordinary Family" is an awesome show. I love it. I was so surprised when I watched the first episode because they paid some homage to Kitty Pride/Shadowcat from "X-Men". That was awesome. And yesterday's episode was even sweeter because they had the Wolverine comic from Marvel's "Civil War" on the show. I think that Marvel actually has a hand in this show.

You never know? Disney owns ABC and Marvel.

I liked the second episode more than the first and wanted to see more now. I'm a Wolverine fan also. Thanks for posting these items. I'll have to check and see if Marvel is in the production cast.

There are so many cute new shows! Mike and Molly on Monday nights is really cute. It is about 2 people who meet at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting and like each other. He is a cop and she is a teacher with a messed up mom and sister. The Defenders with Jerry O'Connell and Jim Belushi as attorneys is really cute. Outlaw with Jimmy Smits is ok, not sold on it yet. There is one with Rob Morrow and Maura Tierney. I can't remember the name. it is good too. They are on opposite sides of the court room. What I like about this one is that at the end, they show what really happened, after you have a chance to decide for yourself guilty or not guilty. I think I like BlueBloods. Not sure if it is because of Tom Selleck or not. Will decide soon. Love *ellcats! No Ordinary Family is interesting. I am still on the fence until I see where they are going with it. I also think I am going to like Detroit 187. Thank heaven for my DVR!

I've only watched 2 new shows this fall which is hellcat and nikita. I really like nikita because the story is very interesting about a spy who tries to take down a company she used to work for. It's very thrilling. Hellcat, as you said is predictable but i like it.

I've never seen Blue Bloods, but I keep telling my dad he should watch it. It looks like a show he would really enjoy. I love how people are saying Tom Selleck is saving Friday night TV. And I'm glad to see Donnie Wahlberg on a show that looks to be succeeding.

Thanks for the reply. I do think your father would really like Blue Bloods. The actors were selected well for the show.
