Maybe US should just "STOP" accepting Immigrants & Remove Off shore Bases..

I hope you do try to understand and read my topic before you start bashing or rating me negative. because I've been thinking about it, and i ONLY need to let this thing out of my head.that's all. if you can't tolerate it, just leave, you're bashing will not be productive.
I know what I am gonna write could offend future legal / Illegal Immigrants in the US. there's no accurate information here but just plain opinion, you can relate your facts or opinion, but please try not to be rude.
let's face it,most Americans are Mad already with these tons of Illegals coming in and out. not only they're not citizens yet, some are criminals, exploiters, relative bringers.and most specially, future terrorist.
Of course, how can that happen, how such Immigration can be put to "HALT" where some US business are actually off shore giving jobs in the third world countries.not to mention US was one of those who proposes "GLOBALIZATION" in terms global competition amongst business, investments and entrepreneurs.
not to mention US forces are also across the globe, poking their noses here and there. imagine if they start removing their bases stationed on other countries, they will Save More, millions of dollars. or if they start cutting expenses more specially from those top secret facilities and military experiments, like the ones in Area 51, they can save billions of dollars..
But that's not gonna happen, isn't it. if they remove offshore bases (US) they loose global influence, creating more and more tensions in other nations that are not in good terms with each other.then, WORLD WAR III.

Don't you just hate it if other Nations that are not growing up, or US government is not allowing them to grow up(rumored), specially in terms of military power.even if they're military power grows, they are still immature, tending to increase territories, claiming islands as their own, provoking other countries like crazy.

If (US)they stop getting immigrants, some Firms could literally go out of business because to some are depending on "illegal immigrants" to save money/ less expenses.therefore, outsourcing would die as well.
I am a Filipino by the way, and my dad is a caregiver, too old. you don't have to be "too smart" to know basic things that's causing the US drain(too much watching CNN,MSN,FOX, and others, reading Internet articles). I've failed US immigration interview twice because of Dad, but am glad I did, I prefer to stay and believe a future still sparks in my country and not ready to adapt, whereas most has just give up hope leaving for countries like US, doesn't really want to comment if Americans loose that job and they are replaced. it's all about earn a living and getting a future in foreign shores.
Am not complaining, it's just something that sum up on my brain after hearing and reading too many articles already on some problems like the Immigration.
Therefore I can conclude (my opinion by the way), there isn't really a permanent solution unless third world country government starts having TRUE political Will, stop being selfish/corrupt and giving what is needed by the people and not just useless rhetorics(Philippines not exempted).
What do you think? views?
God-Bless.

Really? That's a great idea!!!! (Statement is flowing with sarcasm)
I totally agree, but I doubt it will happen, I mean we can't even keep the language, we have to become bi-lingual which I can't do. I have tried learning many different languages and I can only get bits and pieces. No way can I walk into a Mexican restaurant and if they only spoke Spanish, I can't order anything to eat..:(
Plus you have really great points on what is draining America, as I glad you to have you as a friend who is not American and yet sees how some things we do are self-destructive..

Hello Carmel,
Language can be kept too, the only concern in this discussion was the unstoppable increase of Immigrants in the US. at least lessen them or put a stop for a decade to allow those who are in the US to give time to help those who are unemployed. probably imprisoned those entrepreneurs who are hiring illegals..
It doesn't take a scholar to know these things. even whereas US is strict now with immigration, there's still a lot of people going in there.

It's just an opinion. i think there are also huge disadvantages if my discussion ever becomes a reality. this is probably a lessoned learned and something that my country (Philippines) should make a start in putting strict on immigration in case it becomes a first world country..

This wasn't a quite a topic that would please all other readers..
for the better information, United states is not the only country present in North America or in the world..
i'm not marking negative or reporting it..
i would certainly disagree with you..
u cannot push everyone out of the country because they are the immigrants..
If every country is going to have their own citizen as their workers then there is no reason for deploying Globalization..
We don't need it...
I Live in a Place where we welcome guests First..
We give them Shelter and we still live with the quotes "Guests First"..
Stop the off shore business, do u think US has all the products enough for the entire country?
I agree with you on a certain thing that illegal immigrants should be removed..
But , sending back the legal immigrants would surely result in a total Loss !!
Because it is a known fact that some of the senior employees of Microsoft are from other countries !!

Letran-
Immigrants are NOT stealing American jobs. First of all, most of the research and investigations done most illegal immigrants are paid only a few dollars per hour. They are not given benefits, and contrary to popular belief not all illegal immigrants are automatically given food stamps, public aid, and so forth.
Those who are immigrants, unfortunately, unless highly skilled and educated end up working minimum wage jobs at Wal-Mart, etc with little to no benefits. Now, I'm not trying to say that most Americans are not hard workers but I've spoken with several in my course of living who despise such low end jobs and refuse to do them. They end up either living off the system, or spending their lives in school to hopefully get better jobs. Now that said, just having an high level education does not necessarily mean one will have a job. I am an educator and currently the job market is so lifeless that I've not been able to find a teaching post in five years. There are some immigrants who are also in this position as well.
Just remember that correlation does not equal causation.

well, i don't think i had this perception. i mean, if they are skilled immigrants or illegals, they should be contributing that to their home country. Likewise, the best of the best of my people are no longer in the philippines but elsewhere. now, i wouldn't be surprise if they hate the government so much.

Hello Gohan,

Nope i don't think i was coming close to this. probably i was misunderstood, am sorry. what am trying to say is that, US should at least stop or lessen by 50% incoming of immigrants. so that those who are in the US but jobless can have time for training and future employment. just a suggestion, which is utterly and completely unlikely

Even if United States do that, they will be ready for a bigger expense to carry. and that is WORLD WAR III, if they do the same just like back in the 1940's. wars will be at it again, creating some destabilization through out the entire middle east, Asia and African continent.
I doubt the UN can't do a damn thing about it since US fleet and army are the largest in the WORLD. and with out their Nuclear Weapons, war will escalate longer than WWII. think about it deeply.

Hello Jean,
I agree with some points you point out. sometimes, you gotta hate governments of other countries for being power hungry craps, just like our country is., that's true, with out Nuclear Weapons, it could have been another WAR that would never end. just like during World War II, imagine those people dying all over again.

I know you are doing this for the Good intention to save United States.
But i can tell you this now, It's a bad idea and their Biggest Mistake. if that happens, South Korea will be at war with them long enough to loose their 40+ years of real hard work. China is now being aggressive, what happens if they start helping North Korea? Japan,S.Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia will be in big trouble.
I doubt the European can help either since they have enough force to block the incoming chinese fleet and troops. also they have terrorist problem too, as many muslim immigrants are dominating the EU.
i hope you're solution doesn't become a reality

Hello NObody4me,
that's more than one Nation against China, I think we can still pull it off with proper coordination. but i have to be honest, you're right we will be in big trouble. well, as for Europe, it's indeed becoming very alarming with these problems started arising. i hope things go well some day

I don't think United States will "CHICKEN OUT" like that just to save money and solve the deficit problem. i doubt it since they wan INDIRECT control of the World. getting all other resources that the other countries have just like OIL. I don't think the rest of the world is ready for the US to isolate themselves, they will LOOSE a lot for sure. but you have cited a lot of good points. too little too late. they will SINK and there's no one can stop. unless they actually listened to your solution.

Hello Greedymoney,
Well, lets not be pessimistic about US sinking down. am sure they still have a lot of resources to pull it off. and it's just a suggestion here anyways. I am not sure what life we will be having if the Muslim States actually becomes indirect control of the world. I'd rather have US thank you very muchy

Nice suggestion coming from some one who hasn't been there once. are you nuts? :D
they are way too late. if they do that, they're eventually backing out on this so called globalization thing.they started it, now they want to isolate just like what north korea's doing? it's a crazy idea. look at NK now, one of top enemies in the West.
as for your dad, since you still don't have a job, you must be lucky that he made it there after years of being TNT (your past discussions said it). so, better keep you're views of america to yourself. sometimes, those problems aren't easy as it looks.
United States choose this path, it's not for you to help. let them handle that!

Hello Rebelotter,
I knew i would get this reasoning sooner or later. but we all have opinion here. so, i just wanted to give this suggestion. yes, i know i know that it's going to affect my dad if such rule is implemented. however, in the long run, it's not going to be too good if US becomes a third world or collapse economy in the future. I have been keeping it to myself of these suggestions for a long time. but i just couldn't keep anymore.

The American economy has been in a bad place for awhile now. It is definitely time to evaluate where the taxpayer dollars are going. I think much of the aid currently going to foreign countries should be stopped. As long as the US dishes out the money, these peoples are not challenged to find solutions to their problems. What is amazing is that so many of these countries that we are generous with do not like us and openly bash the USA whenever they can. That kind of country does not deserve our money.
The second step is to drastically reduce funding through the UN. The UN is also very anti-American and they pretty much have nothing to show,

Hello djbtol.
not to mention the bases that are set up on other countries. just think about the money being spent on paying those rent, cost probably millions of dollars or something. UN doesn't even that much strong influence. remember the vote for iraq invasion, majority rejected it but US went for it anyways, costing deaths of a lot of soldiers, besides Americans.

letran I do so agree as illegal mexicans come in here get all sorts of freebies from our own government when some of our own poor do not get
the help they do deserve yet we think these criminals who are here illegally desere any of that, of course they do not? they brought young hoodlum gangs who do drive by shootings just to prove they are macho
and while they claim they are shooting rival gangs most are just innocent p eople in the wrong place at the wrong time.we should never have started hiring illegals when we have a huge jobless economy with many deseving Americans out of work. Send them all back to Mexico where they slipped across the border like the criminals they are. now we need to focuss on getting our own Americans back to wo rk, quit sending out foregin aid until all the jobless are again working, we have to help our own country before we can send all that money to foreign lands.

Would really like to give up your dream in the US. you're not married yet, besides, am sure you're dad can do something about your petition. he's not the person who does the "cashunduan" thing just to get his application hasten.
I am not sure whether i would agree with you. so far, the reason why the world hasn't gone for the third world war is because of United States. remember, when US ignored support to European Allies, it exploded into World War II. lets hope they can turn things around with out you're advice.

Hello there,
I don't know if I can still be living in an American Dream if US is overcrowded with a lot of different people. besides, it ain't as the Great Nation as it used to be. but i love US, it's just that i don't want to be part of the burden. I am not sure about them turning things around when things are as bad as it is.
