i have to admit I am loving life now that it is cold outside. I love bundling up to go to bed. I love wearing sweaters and hoodies, starting fires and drinking hot coco. I can't wait till it snow and I can't wait till Christmas. I love the lights and songs and smell of the Christmas tree. I never want it too leave. But then again, i get excited every October and I don't want to take that feeling away.
Are you sitting here disagreeing with everything I'm saying??
whats your favorite season and what do you like so much about it?
And would you rather your season be here all the time, or do you think it wouldn't be as special then?

Nah, I do not like the cold weather, but then again, I have to work outside in it.
And speaking of Christmas, that's my winter job -- decorating town centers and shopping centers. Lights. Garland. Those BIG wreaths and TALL trees. We work at night, so it gets really, REALLY cold. Especially up in a 60' lift or on a roof. Yup, I have no use or love for those minus wind chill temps.

The job pays really well and yes, I do need it. But I do like the job itself. It is pretty gratifying to see everything looking so sparkly and beautiful. We're like Santa's elves. Everyone goes to bed at night and we come out to do our Christmas magic, so everything is all merry and Christmas-y when they wake up.
I have never been fond of the winter. Not just because I work outside (this is not the first job I've had where I work out in the elements), it's just because I have never liked being cold.

Well as much as you do not enjoy the cold, I understand why you do work there now. It seems very rewarding. It must be nice to feel that way when you are done with the job.

I would lovee that job. I would love to see it all beautiful and lite up once I was done. Why do you do it if you don't like, just because you need it? Do you enjoy the actually job of it? Have you always hated the winter or did the job ruin it for you?
That was a lot more questions than I planned on writing haha.
Thanks for posting.

AS a general rule I love summer. However, since I have become a runner I really enjoy the cooler temperatures. When it is hot I can overheat too easily but when it is cool I can run and get "hot" without feeling sick! So I am actually starting to like cooler temps better.

Yeah, that makes sense. I don't like running much at all so running in the hot I would probally die. I give props. =)

I wish it was cooling down here! Well, it is, to some extent, but the green beans are still blooming and the tomatoes are ripening in the garden, although they've slowed down. I have been able to put on a warm sweater in the mornings when I go out and I sleep under a blanket now.
I do love this time of year. Everything seems crisp and clean and the sky is so blue! And it won't be long until Christmas, my favorite holiday.
I love spring time, too. Things are waking up and so fresh and new... and summer has its own special feeling, too. I'd hate to live where there are no seasonal changes.

Christmas is my favorite holiday too, obviously. I am very excited. I totally do understand what you meant by the special feeling. I don't like the raking leaves of october or the halloween too much in october as I love the weather cooling down. I love all the seasons at first. The thing is I get sick of every season, except for winter. That's how I know its my favorite. =)

We don't really have the 4 seasons (winter, spring, summer, and fall) in our country, we only have the Wet and the Dry Seasons. The Wet season usually starts in June then ends in January (or February) the rest of the months fall on the Dry season.
I wouldn't really have preferences in any of them because if it's the Wet season, there would be everyday rains and thunderstorms and too much rain is not something to be pleased about if you need to go out of the house. Similarly, with the Dry season comes hot weathers and extremely humid winds.
But, like you, I do like the cold times. Particularly the weather today. It's cold because it feels like it's about to rain but it isn't raining. Everything looks fresh and I could enjoy the outdoors without thinking about the heat and sunburn. I just love this typical October day! But unlike you who would rather spend days bundled up in the bed, I have opposite preferences. I'd rather work and do some activities when the weather is cold.

Yes. I do like having four seasons though, they change pretty quick and it does keep life and wadrobe intersting, haha. I love the rain almost as much as the snow.
So the rain would be my favorite.
I do like being bundled up but I do like also going out doors. I atchually love camping in the autumn and going sitting outside everymorning with a blanket. And no matter how old I get I love playing in the snow.
Thanks for the post =)

Well, we Indonesian only get two seasons, rainy and hot. I believe I enjoy everything, because it has its own unique values that I can enjoy.
As for you, then why should I disagree? Enjoying life like what you are doing is something precious, things that nobody is struggling to discover even though they've got much money. But you can get it only in a simple way. That's happiness. Keep it safe, my friend.

=) so true. Not too many people enjoy the simple things in life like that anymore do they? I am so glad you value life and the things in it.
I am also curious, is it always hot? When its rainy does it get cold?
Just wondering.
Thanks for the response =)

Where are you that it is cool or even cold. Yesterday, October 9...fall....it was a high of 89. That is middle of August weather. I almost put the air conditioning back on because my house was starting to bake. I love the change to the cooler weather, and just wish that it would actually change.

Im in Virginia. Here it has been kind of shifty too, some days it will jump back up. But the nights have been cold. Today it was a high of 65, and very rainy. It is jumping but it getting there. I even love the transition of the season. But I am like you, I would like it a lot more if it would stay cold.

Me too. I love being on my bed all the time. I love wearing my socks. I don’t wear pajamas most of the time but I just love lying down, covered with my blanket, and hugging my pillow then listen to the music. I love it when it’s raining. I love the smell when it pours.

Me too. I normally do not sleep with much on, even when it is cold. I love wrapping myself in the blanket and going from freezing to warm. I regret it in the morning though =) haha. I love the rain too. I love the snow even more though.

Cold weather can be a welcome change to the heat of summer. It can be a bit chilly but it is still inviting. i can do without the ice and blizzards but the cold weather can still be enjoyable. it is the perfect time for snuggling with the one that you love.

Yes, it is a very good change. I enjoy the blizzards or heavy snow though. I find it very soothing and beautiful I could do with out the ice though.

well, since i live in a hot town i do really want to know what the cold weather look like. i cant stand living in a hot weather coz it makes me sweating all the time and it is uncomfortable of course. in my country there are only two seasons, dry and rainy season. well both seasons are good but if i gotta choose i would prefer a rainy season coz it makes the weather cold

Yeah; I could not stand that, personally. I can barely stand three months of summer much less for it to barely go away. I would enjoy the rain though. I love the rain.

I love the cold times XD. Every time I come home and finish eating, I jump into my bed and wrap my blankets around me and it feels so comfortable. I also like how I can just get up and put on some random hoodie. Although, I wouldn't like it to last forever because I like seeing the sun every now and then.

Yes in the winter time it is very dark. Although I do love the cold and dark when I wake up and it's still dark outside it makes me very sleepy. I love curling up to when it's cold outside. Its so relaxing. Thanks for posting. =)

i most like the autumn and the spring. because it is not so warm and so cold. it is just balancing. winter is so cold and the person is alwys sick , while summer is so hot, i can't bear the temprature. in the autumn, i can see the leaves and smell the wind. in spring, we can feel the new year's coming. it is quite excited.

I do understand where you are coming from. And as much as I love winter, I feel as if spring and fall are fading away. It seems to become very hot really quick or very cold very quickly. Which I don't particularly love. I like the change, but as a long time I like it to be cold.
Thanks for posting. =)
