When I went to school, I really like to buy book, and really like to protect my book to be like new one. I am little to spent money to buy book since I worked, why? The main reason was my attitude changed, I looked for the convenient way to read, eg. read online from internet, yeah, it's true that I can read some free ebook. How about you,do you like to read book online from internet instead of buy a new book?

I like both of them. But I don't have enough money to buy books a lot. Usually I search the books I want to read online. Thanks to the Internet, we can gain many useful and helpful resources, the good-quality ebooks are included.
However, I buy some books each year. Besides, I would like to go to the bookstore, sitting there for a whole day and reading books I like. It's also one of my hobbies.

I can guess you are very addicted books,it's a good interests. I prefer to go to bookstore to read books, however don't stay a whole day. I completely agree with you, it's a good way to read books online, first, we can find the books we need, second, we can save some money, the bad condition was we will feel very tired to read the books when we face computer for a long time. Have a great day!

I always and rather buy books instead of reading it online. I dunno why but I feel more comfortable reading a story by holding the book lol. I also can bring the book into the plane, or boat, or take it to the beach or wherever I go where it is hard to get an Internet connection. I love creating my own mini library at home, and it is always making me happy whenever my friends come to visit, and they say they wanted to read those book. Collecting and keeping book as a collection is also one of my hobby. I don't deny that I do read on Internet though, but that is when I don't have money to buy book that I really want to read.

It really depends. If the book is thin I would probably just read it online. However if the book is rather thick I probably will print it and read it offline. If the book is too thick and inconvenient to be printed I'll probably just buy the real book instead.

We won't read the book again when we buy it at home and read it first, so it's a good way to read online, some websites updated the book everyday, we can read free books and download the ebook to our computer. I once print some short book.

I love to read, and I also used to buy books. But since I discovered the wonderful world of ebooks, I seldom buy the printed copies. Unless it from a favorite, or a book that is very meaningful to me. What I like about ebooks is that its for free, and it is convenient in a way that I can put it in my ipod or my phone and I can read it anywhere. What I like about the printed copy is that I get to keep it, it's mine to read again and again whenever I want. It's also friendlier to the eyes. And I admit, there's just something different in the smell of a paper and ink.

Wow, I have the same interests like you. I found it's very useful websites to download the ebooks, so I downloaded them to my mobile too, I can read the story anywhere, which made me spent most of my free time. I was so excited when I found those websites provide the free ebooks. Cheers.

As far as i am concerned, reading a book online or in a computer is never the same as reading with a real hardbound printed copy. I prefer to read a book again if i feel it is good and having a printed copy is better for that.
i have a collection of all the good books i have read, from when i am 8 till now and i dont feel like selling them or even giving away to some one for that matter.
But opinions differ. And we can get books from the libraries for free .Above all i feel it is good for our eys and our Power usage.

I use to buy books, for my collection and for my kids to read when they grow up.
And,until now,i still buy books rather than reading online.
my daughter also loves to read and always a book with her when we are on travel.
And that's the advantage of it,i can carry my book wherever i go,and i can read on my free time when i wanted to.

I'd rather buy books than to read online from internet.Because it's easier to read while reading online from internet can consume time and money. It's painful in the eyes reading on the screen.

Yeah, I agree with you, I often felt my eyes very painful when I read the books from the computer, because it has radiation, which will hurt our eyes and face. It's best way to buy book to read if economy condition permit.

I Love Reading books from the internet and I prefer it that way as it comes free of cost :D. I would rather prefer to read a book on the internet and then decide to buy if the book interests me enough and is worth having in a collection. but there are many books which are not available on the internet for reading free, it makes me feel sad when a certain book I want to read is available but not free of cost to read :P. In such a case I have no other option left other than to buy a hard copy of that book. It is always better to buy hard copies than soft copies as we can keep hard copies in a collection for a long time and refer whenever we want :). But reading a e-book first on internet gives you an idea whether the book you want is worth purchasing and keeping in collection or not :). So I only buy those books which I find worth purchasing.

I completely agree with your points. When my friends recommend some books to me, I will search and check it content at the internet firstly, to certain if it is worthy to buy and have one, if I can read it online, I won't buy one. If I can't find it, I will go to ligrary to buy.I am not a good interesting to collect, except it is worthy to collect.

Hi betty deng!
I buy books! Its better to keep them handy rather than turn on the computer on and strain your eyes. Besides, you can even lend the books to anyone or donate them to charities later on.

Well, just like you, I'm fond of buying books during schooldays and during my younger years when internet is not this famous yet, and I'm very protective with them, actually when you see them now, it looks like new. But yes, time changes, now everything can be found in the internet and it would be impractical to have them now. Actually, since my books still looks like new, I let them be sold if there is a buyer, and for those some informative books, i decided to donate it in some libraries. Though, it would be still useful, when there is a problem with computer, but I let them be useful for some people instead of just keeping them in the shelves. happy mylotting.

Reading a book gives a unique kind of pleasure because it lets your imagination soar. However, due to very busy working schedules, and of course, our eyesights get worse as we age, I think the best alternative I suggest is buying or downloading an audio book. It's still the same book, but the words are narrated or voiced by an individual. This is very convenient for me now because I can utilize my commute time especially during traffic jams, for listening to an audio book. I love reading, but audio books are a more practical alternative.

I often download audio ebooks of english literature to my mobile, I can listen them anywhere, it's so convenient to listen and understand the content, the most important thing was I improved my english listening skill. lol. I appreciated those websites who provide those free audio ebooks to people. Cheers.
