travel journalism : dream job

so ever since i had my first "out of the country" vacation, i'd always wanted to be a travel journalist. i hated english in grade school but i enjoyed writing and i loved traveling outside the country, even in. now im thinking about going to school next semester and i still haven't declared a major. im not sure whether i want to do a general education major because i dont want the extra classes if i dont need them. not to mention its not exactly inexpensive. but then i also dont want to declare a major and then change it and be stuck with completely irrelevant classes. /: ..confusedd.. what would you do?..
