Lately I've been eating stuff that I used to hate (even stuff that made me barf). Since I started eating pesto (hated basil! Dad used to grow them in a huge greenhouse, and it stank soooo much!), I also started liking celery and pickles. The one spice that I know that I'll never, ever like is coriander or cilantro . Is there any food that you used to hate that you now eat? Is there any food you'll never like?

I don't want to eat long beans, I just don't like it. And everything is fine to me. But I want it when it fresh.

Long beans. Does it really give you the gas? But, I like this vegetable. And, yes, I prefer it fresh than canned.

I never eat bittergourd before. Then my sis told me the health benefits of it, I started to eat it, not bothered from its bitter taste.

Bittergourd is extremely healthy. Glad you like it now. I love it. Try it with beef and tomatoes. Or eggs and tomatoes. Yummy!

Celery is something I can't eat because I hate both the smell and the taste. And cabbages too because when someone's cooking these thinks it smells like a big f*rt.I didn't like sushi, now I can eat some only when I make it myself.

I used to feel that about celery. Just don't know what happened. Maybe because I've gotten more conscious of my health, that's why. As to sushi, I love sushi. For me, though, the korean version, kim bap, is yummier because it has sesame oil and seed, and the rice does not have mirin (japanese vinegar). And, yes, I prefer it when I make it, too. Thanks for the response!

Liver ranks among one of the most hated good. You either hate it or love it. Good thing you were able to get over it. Me, personally, I like liver. There's even that liver spread that I love on my bread. Thanks for your response!

Right, a lot of us grew up hating veggies. And yeay for all of us who now eat 'em! They're extremely healthy and good for us.
