New grandma / myLot

Hi friends, About the end of February, beginning of March, I am actually going to be a grandmother for the first time. Yes, my first born son is about to be a daddy. I am so happy I can't put it into words. However, there are other people that aren't so happy. This is because my son and his girlfriend are not married. I have a lot of people putting in their 2 cents worth (thats about what it is worth). Oh my goodness, they're having a baby and they're not married,... oh my. Well I think this baby is going to be beautiful. A marriage certificate really won't make a difference in how the baby comes out. People act like the child will be born with 6 toes and 2 noses. Well they know what they can do with their comments. As my mom always taught me.... if you don't have anything nice to say... don't say anything at all. This totally applies here. Congratulations, cher8558! A baby is always an amazing news! As for the other people, well, they're entitled to their opinion. But like you said, a marriage certificate won't make a difference. What counts is the love that the parents share, and the love that the baby will be given from his or her family when he or she comes out.

Some people run off with the mouth when they have no business doing so. Damn them jackasses!! Your son and his girlfriend aren't the first to have a baby out of wedlock and they'll most certainly won't be the last so these jackasses need to lighten up! What the hell do they expect YOU to do about it anyway? Turn back time?

I can't stand people who are so judgmental like that. As if they never sinned in some way. YEAH RIGHT. So till they get off their high horse and realize that, they need to shut the hell up. As for you sweetie, CONGRATULATIONS!! I know you're excited!! A new life being brought into this world is cause for celebration!!
