advokatku it takes a while to learn to f ocus and keep your mind on ' one thing. try to breathe normally and occasionally try some deep breathing, I know when I have tried to meditate I kept having my thoughts going all over and found too I was not breathing right and was out of breath. you must learn to focuss on one thought only and relax, you will begin to get the hang of it as you try to be calm and to not hold your breath. Also make yourself wear the most comfy of clothes so that you are not focussing on how your body feels.I think some junior colleges teach meditation classes. go' have a look.

Hi advokatku, you shouldn't be feeling throbbing and dizziness after meditation. Stilling the mind will feel unnatural if you are feeing stressed out, that is yur mind is trying to cope with too many things. I'm not an expert but you might find the following helpful - some meditation guidance at www.real-innerpeace.com/meditation.aspx and The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle at www.real-innerpeace.com/powerofnow.aspx . Please let me know if this helps
