difference between blog & discussion

I see there is hardly any difference between Blog & Discussion, you can post your piece and and people can respond to blogs and discussions either...Is there any difference other than the length.

There are much deference between Blog and Discussion.
Meaning of Blog:- Blog show the information about particular product. Particular program in any blog means a to z information about any thing in blog showing.
Meaning of Discussion:- Discussion means discuss the particular topic from referent people that means Discussion.

A blog is a collection of your own thoughts. A discussion is a collection of everyone's thoughts and opinions.

I think A blog is mainly putting your own thoughts together. And discussion is about asking others to share their thoughts to have better understanding of a situation or a problem. I figure...

the content of blog determined by your own, while the contents of the discussion should follow the rules set by admin

So that means we donot have any rules for discussion?? I missed reading the FAQ's on discussion and blog rules actually. I'd better read that one.Thanks anyways.

Well I think there is clear difference between blog and discussion. Blog is actually a space for someone to put about every thing that they feel to express on their space(blog) that include discussion also. discussion on the other hand are just what it spells out to be and that is to talk about one topic or issue. to give opinion.

right. Well maybe. they seem similar to me. unless there is difference in the payout also.
