Earn money through Affiliate programs.

This is an 'make extra money' interest. So I would like to ask some doubts regarding making money through 'Affiliate' programs.
I am a member in "click bank" program. But I donn't know how to promote the click bank products effectively. I used some Traffic Exchange programs. But that produced any good results. Now I am thinking to post articles in my blogs. But my question is that whether I am allowed to post in blogger blog this kind of programs.Kindly advise me how I can make the promotion effectively. I think that many mylotters are successful members of clickbank, commission junction and many other affiliate programs.

You're allowed to promote these programs wherever you want but you did make a wrong choice trying to promote it through traffic exchange programs. It's like making peanut sauce for someone who is allergic to peanuts.
Or selling a super duper new computer priced at 6.000 dollars in a second hand shop... Do you know what I mean? Traffic exchanges are meant for you to lower your alexa ranking. What traffic exchanges do is make you believe there are other purposes for them like getting referrals or sales. This is definitely not true. But it's their way of attracting newbie internet marketeers.
The best way for you to promote your stuff is make a professional blog with wordpress with paid domain and paid hosting. Learn SEO ( VITAL!, it's the only way of attracting targeted traffic. Traffic exchange traffic is not targeted and not interested in your products/services at all, hence you get no sales) and learn the tricks and tips, techniques and such things internet marketeers use to get sales.
