Bangladesh winning 1st ODI against NZ...wow!!!

Bangladesh won their 1st ODI against the NZ...i know many people have been talking only about the IND vs. Aus game...but we had another thriller in the Bang vs. NZ match which the Bang won by 9 runs (D/L method)...it was a close contest and NZ should have won the match after Mcallum gave them a great start but faltered midway through...what a win for Bang. and a huge morale booster for them leading the series.. Can they go ahead keeping the momentum and win the series is worth to see...what say guys.

Hi richclass,
It is always difficult for any touring side to perform against the host country in front of hostile local crowd. But last time they toured this country they defeated them in style. Does that mean New Zealand standard has gone down or Bangladesh has improved. New Zealand defeated India recently in Sri Lanka in 1st O.D.I. of the tri series so Bangladesh must have Improved. It is good news for the cricket crazy crowd of that country. I wish them all the best in the forthcoming world cup.

I dont think NZ is a good team for ODI as well as T20 until unless they are not playing in their home ground. In my opinion even Zimbabwe young team can also beat NZ, outside of NZ. Bangladesh is far better team.

I would say that the present Bangladesh cricket team is rather better than the old ones.Now their team is power packed with a lot of youngsters who can fight for their team until last ball to be bowled.I should say that their fielding is far better than many other teams.Only their problem is batting and bowling.Definitely they are having a good team.This problem can be over comed by playing more matches

nowadays bangladesh making some surprise by beating a well cricket team like india,aussie and some others they have the potential 2 beat every team...

Well, its really surprising for me. But it may be possible as the present new zealand team is not that great, they don't have good players right now. But despite the first ODI lost i think that new zealand will win the series as they are still better than bangladeshi team i think.

Bangladesh has great potential as a cricket side. They even beat Australia in a one-day match a few years ago.

Wow what a stunning news Bangladesh beating New Zealand .I am sure Bangladesh fan would be very excited about that.They are 1-0 in the series.Its difficult for New Zealand to come back but they have the potential to challenge the best in their business on their day .However Bangladesh in these few year has shown a great temperament and a fighting spirit.They are not underdogs now.Any thanks for coming up with great news.
