Long time computer users are must be smoker! I think its true. Because I am a smoker. Some of my friends, some of my colleagues, Some of my relatives, some of my clients who use computer for a long time I saw that they are always smoker. Some of them are light smoker, most of them are chain smoker. If you can't believe it, then you can make an experiment of that...

Then for you its true but don't generalize as i am been a computer users for a quite long time now. I am a web developer but i hate to smoke not the smokers 
In our office i we are 4 developers but in our group only two of our fellow developers smoke. Even though i don't believed in it there is nothing to experiment it just testify the sayings that "tell me your friends are and i tell who you are". So you are surrounded by smokers so your a smoker too rather me i don't get acquainted with smokers so my friends don't smoke if i am with them. They respect me as i respect them.

I have used a computer most of my life and i have never smoked. I think people smoke because they are bored and it is nothing to do with the computer.
