I don't think that betrayal can ever be considered genetic. there are so many factors that could be the cause of betrayal. We never know what might set this emotion in us off. We might see it coming or we may not. I don't believe it is something that we can inherit and pass on.

Maybe we can say that this is familial in a sense that, if there is a history or a living proof within the family doing such you'll bet your bottom dollar that the possibility of repitition among descendants will happen. After all, if you live with them, you'll be like them. It's like, if you can't beat them, join them. Lol!:)
