My cousin told me this rule he tries to live by. If you do choose to live by this rule, you have to live by it through life. I think there are some people who either get played or the one who does the playing and play other people. I was played before and I will not be on the receiving end of that again. I will be the one that does the playing. Now, all I have to figure out is how to play. =)
Are you player or are you the one that has been played?

Is this about relationships? If it is, I think that kind of thinking just complicates and worsens things for you. There would be times when we would think that we're played at. I mean, I have experienced it for like a couple of times, but instead of thinking that I should be the one playing and not the one who's played, I just moved on with my life and accepted that it's part of life and there are people who gets satisfaction from playing with other people.
I really think that with a philosophy like that, it would be hard for you to trust people and handle your future relationship.
