Rain and Cocroaches

Ouch! I just cannot stand cleaning the front part of my house after yesterday's heavy rain! There are a lot of dead cocroaches laying around, and they smell bad! Like I told previously, it was a heavy rain yesterday, and it took more than three hours for the rain to finish its job. At that time I did really want to sleep soundly because the weather was quite ideal for something like that. But I could not do that because my room which is located near the front part of my house was invaded by a lot of cocroaches. The condition could not be so worse because I was the only person in the house, and my blindness did not allow me to see those cocroaches running freely. So, I ended up closing all doors and windows, grabbing a broom, and sweeping the floor madly! Luckily, my parents showed up from work and they helped me cleaning the house. But, even though those cocroaches have been swept clean from my room, I still could not sleep at night because I was afraid those will return. Yeah, and they indeed return in the morning, DEAD! So, have you experienced something unpleasant because of rain or cocroach?
