Hi guys, I just found out yesterday that discussions about mylot earnings are prohibited here. That is why my discussion got deleted. Phoey.. I guess the saying "Ignorance of the law excuses no one" also applies on the internet. Are there any more topics that can't be posted here aside from mylot earnings? Thanks.

myLot prohibits many topics here, and yes you can find them in the guideline section. Primarily, you can't post about milestones, whether here or on other sites, topics of useless nature, mainly one line topics that have no real meaning to them. Topics with no substance to them are not allowed, and I've seen many of those around. Promoting referral links or other sites, asking people to view your profile in order for you to get referrals as well is not allowed. Topics that flame, degrade, or are racist and the like are also prohibited. Found out earlier that even talking about freebies isn't allowed, even though it doesn't benefit the poster, they normally don't get anything in return for posting about something that they get for free that is not money related. There are many topics that aren't allowed, and I probably haven't even covered half of them, so do check the guideline pages and you'll see what they are. Responding to discussions that are prohibited will result in your reply being deleted and you losing credit for those, so it's something to keep in mind while here.

It's a discussion site. I posted about being here for 4 years, and my topic got deleted. I'm not sure about the blog area if the guidelines are different as I don't use that area.

What is the main purpose of a forum if you know?? Place to ask and answer, while milestone will make much people get confused. Making a poll, that for a kid I guest. While, we want a pro in here.Whether for the question and the answers. For Mylot earning, if you ask about how much I will get to post or every activity. It will get deleted. But if you ask about tips and tricks to increase the earning, that is OK. For promoting ourself, whether to post referral link, ask to visit our profile, posting our web address. Most forum won't allow this kind of thread. We can post a link if that link can be used for resources. Basically, Mylot want to have a pro thread cause it can help Mylot to get more visitor from search engine.

Go through the discussion guidelines once again. You'll find there the do's and dont's. I've had my share of deleted discussions, and I still haven't gotten the hang of it, but, I guess, soon I will get the hang of it.

Really. there is a guideline? I didn't know that. Okay, I'll check that out. But reading guidelines can sometimes be a bit cumbersome.

yup, go to the myLot tab, and you'll see under the drop down menu the different guidelines. it is cumbersome, but, at least you won't be getting deleted anymore. you get penalized for those kinds of things.

What I know, the discussion is deleted, is a discussion that link, offering the site, asking a color, asking age, and many more.

It was a pro forums, not a blog. So, don't ever post about something that can decrease the credibility of Mylot. The forum was the place to ask and answer, give and get, the place to share informations. Not the place to make money. Even we come here for that purpose, finally you will know that it's all not about money. But more then that. So, don't think about the money.Just think about great topic or great comments.Cause withaut you asking, Mylot will give it to you.

There are several reasons why myLot deletes discussions. Sometimes they are not really clear and at other times they are clear as day. I have to say that sometimes they don't instantly catch them but admins can't be everywhere with the amount of discussions started every minute, but eventually they do and well efforts are lost. So the only advice I suggest is that the more active you are the more familiar you get and heck we are all human so we may make mistakes at times.

I read it and the guidelines are general so yeah, there is really no clear way of knowing/determining what topics are prohibited. But some are specific.
