Are successful people happy?

Someone said to me one time that "happiness is a choice" and I think it's really true. If you choose to be happy then you are going to be happy. Don't let the situation around you affect your feeling. It may sound easier said than done because when bad things happen to you, you're going to feel sad. I see some people who have everything in life such as money, fame, health, and yet they look so depressed. Then I see other people who are not as fortunate and yet the expression on their face is happy.

I heard on the news about 2 weeks ago about a study on this subject. It seems that people are happy with wealth until they make more than $70,000/year. Over the $70,000 mark, they become unhappy & depressed. I only got near the $70,000 mark once & I was working so hard I was tired ALL the time!!! Except for the time I just mentioned, I have NEVER had a lot of money, but EVERY morning when I wake up, I make a conscience decision to be happy that day!!! I have some fairly wealthy friends & it seems they're NEVER happy with their lives!!! I've NEVER wanted to be rich; however, I would like to have enough to live comfortably!!!!

I think yes successful person always feel happy. Because they have achieved everything in their life. So why they not feel happy. I think they become feel very happy after achieving success in their life.

I say it is all whatever GOD has planned for a person in their life & the decisions a person makes with what they are given. If you take a look at celebrities for example not all of them are happy yet they are all filithy rich with money, fame, & everything they could ever want right? It is up to the person themselves to seek & find their happiness within themselves because I know that you will not find it in any relationship or material thing on this earth.

I think the question that should be asked is 'are happy people successful'. The answer to that one is absolutely.

They're happy that people know they have money and happy that they can buy what they want for themselves or someone else, but they have health issues, marital problems, depression, children who have to go to prison same as everyone else. But oh yes! The money part helps so much.

For me not because you can achieve it by doing God's will of Jehovah God to your self.

it depends on the person...why? because not all successful person are meant to be happy in their life,...how? some are not with their family or even worst doesn't have family at all,a family that they can consider their own,...and some even friends don't have,if there is just a few...

I would also answer a yes and no to this question. Most people aim to be rich to live a comfortable life that would sustain them until old age but some lose their way and stray, they'd become greedy and just think about earning and earning. However, there are those that still remember why they are trying to earn lots of money. I also aim to get rich someday, but i believe that there should always be a balance between work and play to be both successful and happy.

its not necessary that if a certain person is successful then he or she may be happy but being successful increases the probability of being happy. because a successful person will have less issues on the money but there is one thing that if a successful person is just obsessed and engrossed in his or her work then he is likely to be unhappy because these things leads to arguments in the family and finally disrupts happiness.

Most successful people tend to have a smile on their face, but some have the fear of success which is pulling them down... There are two types of fear to do with this, the fear of failure and the fear of success!

People who've never tasted success, it must be said that becoming wealthy is a happiness. In my opinion, happiness depends on how people interpret success. Happiness is something that must be created, not to search.

Not all successful people are happy. Success and happiness are relative. You cannot be happy if you are not contented with all your success. It's like POKER, you can play your best, but you need to know when to take a rest. PEACE...^^,

for me, happiness only happen to you if you are quite contented with what you achieve, if it suits you fine, if you like where you are now, then you are happy. but if you strive harder to achieve what you want, if it will make you happy, so be it...just remember, there is a barometer for happiness, you only feel it when you discover it yourself.because, you may be happy at some point in your life while others are not.

Well successful people are happy when they become successful doing something that they are passionate about ... there are always some sleek short cuts to successful.. the happiness of such people generally is short lived ... Atleast this is what i want to believe in :)

well not all successful people are happy.sometimes even ifyou have too much of welth and npt love you will not be happy.abd vice versa too.
