Is hairstyle a part of physical beauty?

Hi, I think it is. I have seen so many people adopting new hairstyles without even knowing if they suit them. But there must be some compatibility. The hairstyle must match the personality and also the figure. A stout person can think about having long hair, whereas it may not suit a skinny person. Incompatible hairstyles suppresses the beauty while well chosen hairstyle may give you a complete shape. What do you think? Is hairstyle a part of physical beauty?

Oh yeah a hairstyle can completely distract a person's beauty and can be very hard on the eyes of the beholder. A hairstyle can also attract, a not so attractive person can outshine specifically because of their hairstyle. Some of them though are outrageous these days with all the fads and styles. But I am a natural brunette and have not seen my natural black in several years, in fact I think people would be shocked to see me as a brunette.

Wow! I love brunettes. Why do you think people would be shocked?

biswa because I have not worn my natural brunette since I was a teenager and with all my modeling days I have had blonde with res streaks for a very long time. And I love it. Yes it is part of my glory especially since my hair is very long way down my back.

The crowning glory of a person say much about her overall beauty. It is in one package that makes an attractive overall physical beauty. It is not only the hairstyle that gives a lady that impressive look but the health of the hair is also important so that appropriate hairstyles can be created to match the face and age of a person. Aging hair needs to be nourished so it will not thin out to expose the scalp. I would say yes, hairstyle is part of physical beauty. With the right kind of hairstyle, a person's beauty sparkles.

i also agree that hairstyle is part of physical beauty. actually, that's like one of the first things i look at a person. it is okay to go with the trends but it's better if it's compatible with us.

You're right, some people just follow the trend regardless if the hairstyle/haircut suits them, they just want to be "in", they don't care whether they look funny in their hairstyle like some people I know :)

Hi, Yeah, they want to feel 'in' while in reality we feel like kicking them 'out'. It's a great mess. But some people are really very desperate about looking funny. They want to demonstrate some kinda sense of humor through that. But in my opinion we should concentrate more on our personality and words. Humor isn't all about how you look. Right?

i think it adds something to your overall look. my hair is always curly/messy but since i am a creative person and dress that way, it fits.

It obviously is. As the often say, your hair is your crown. So, those ladies will do many things to shore up their looks. Hair is one of those that can make a dramatic change to your appearance. Some people looks great in any style. However, they look super in some hairstyles compare to others.

yes, hair style really lifts ones mood and confidence, good hair attracts people's attention. of course it should suit your face, profession and physical structure. your hairstyle should also complement your dress and foot wear.

That gives me a feeling that every time I buy a new shoe I have to change my hair style. Like you said, hairstyle really lifts one's mood. We feel really confident about ourselves when our friends praise our taste.

Our hair could be considered as one of our greatest and natural accessory. So it should therefore match one's taste and personality. Having a great hairstyle that suits you could help build one's confidence and could help accentuate one's assets in the face.So i guess it could be considered as part of our physical beauty.

I agree, i think that the hairstyle a person chooses should deffinatly portray their personality. I also believe the having the right hairstyle is deffinatly a big part of anyones image and physical beauty. I remember an old friend of mine who had a very dull hairstyle. She looked rather normal, didnt stand out at all. A year later she decided to get a professional hair stylist to help her find a perfect style for her. She is now one of the more attractive females so i would deffinatly say that hairstyle is a big part in physical beauty and attraction.

I agree kiddo. Actually we are ruled by our senses. Hair style should appeal to us visually. Not fair, but its definitely there. But it is also first impression - thereafter other factors take over. So even if the person has excellent hair style, if the person is a boor, you may not be willing to be in his or her company, would you?

Physical beauty is anything that can be seen by your outward appearance. i believe that hairstyle is a big part of that attraction. i would have to consider that hairstyle is a part of our phsyical beauty whether we like to admit it or not.

According to people it is, biswa. For me, nope. My hair, my style, whether it fits or not. I am not the kind who will get all fluffed up about hair styles. It sounds like hard work, i think. TATA.

i agree with you^^ a complete different hairstyle can make someone more pretty and younger^^ some haircuts makes us look younger than other ones^^ also if you paint it in one colour this colour can make your face looks prettier^^ so i totally agree that hair is very important^^ it really can say someone's personality too^^ like girls with longer hair are more feminin than those with short one^^ someone with red hair seems more sassy than someone with brown^^ anyway thats what it shows to other people^^ but i really think that everyone should change their hairstyle sometimes even to make their self esteem higher^^

For me hair style is really important. You can do whatever you want but it must be fit on your personality and to your face. Some people cut their hair as weird as they can but fit with their style and look (Chinese), clean cut for those men in a corporate world (United States), have a curly colored hair for a fashionable state (United Kingdom). Everywhere has their own choice and style but not all fits with them. As my friend told me that "Hair is the crown of your Beauty". It must be fit also in any occasion.
