sucess in life

One thing that made me happy is the satisfaction I am getting from my career. I had looked forward to this type of career since my college years and studied for it. Very fortunately, I landed on a job which very much exactly met my expectaions and hope. That is one success in life for me.

Many measure success in terms of material things - diplomas, went to good universities, own a beautiful house, has many properties, nice family, car, high earning job...etc. But let me ask you, if one is a housewife, is she no longer considered as a successful person too? probably many will nod their head negatively. What if this housewife is enjoying doing the household chores everyday in her life, is she still not considered successful? Who says so? For me, success means enjoying the things you do everyday. I have friends who have high-earning jobs but dislike what they are doing everyday. I also knew a few who are financially rich but are rich with problems as well... addicted son, philandering husband...etc. So are these people considered successful? For me, success should be balance in terms of one's feeling and one's work. So what's the used of reporting to work if you're no longer happy? Something along the way has failed thus, one is not totally successful. However, if you enjoy what you're doing daily even if you're a housewife, then you're considered as successful.

Successful for me is if you are sufficient with everything. I mean not only financially but also physical, emotional and spiritual balance. We can say that we are not financially successful but emotionally you are sufficient with the love of your family.

success is not merely having car,house or somethingetc.,etc,. success i say is when we have completed the task that we made as our ambition in our life. it might be the career or life or any categeory. some feel life successful when they got settled nad bopught car,house etc as you said. Edison thought he was successful when he invented electric bulb.tendulkar thinks successful when he brings worldcup top his country. an soldier thinks successful when enemy gets defeated.so success is different for different persons.

Success, is a word which is very difficult for me to interpret. Maybe for me, success is if I can solve the problem that I faced. Maybe that's the meaning of success for now. But maybe tomorrow, I define success with a different meaning.

success in life? for me ones life can be mark as a success if they can achieve their goal and succeeded in finishing their tasks. just like a sniper succes is lies when they shot right away to their target as defined. and each and everyone has their own target and aims, so there their successful life can be defined. anyway this is in my own views you all may have another. thanks
