expectations with friends

Is it not that friends should be loyal to each other.

We should not expect for perfect friends. In every friendship, there is always an argument.But in order to keep a friendship longer, you should have to understand each other, have trust, love and care.

ideally that is what a friend has to be. loyal in good and righteous things with each other.

if you betray each other a lot.. I don't think that is a healthy relationship...

It is important that loyalty and faith is always maintained in the relationship. Without these two elements the friendship will be mere the formality. I don't think it is better to claim to be best friends if we agree that we are not loyal to each other.
