Why is it that Jollibee is a bee? where it could be a Jollidog or Jollichicken?

How come that Jollibee is a bee, where in fact it is selling its most famous food the chicken where the children love it. do you agree that it should have been Jollichicken ?

I think I've read somewhere that they named it Jollibee because their crew is as busy as a bee and they should be jolly in serving the customers. I think the name Jollibee is fine because it's different from the other fastfood chains.

they only differ from the standards that they use in order to satisfy their customers. In order to satisfy the customers, A fastfood chain must consistently provide them with the highest standards of food, service, and most importanly, cleanliness, so customers will keep on patronizing their products. What a fastfood store serves dont matter, what's important is HOw they serve them.

Jollibee was originally known as an Ice cream parlor when it first started in 1978... Hamburgers, Spaghetti, Hotdogs, and Rice meals followed as they have to meet the public's demands on latter years. Jollichicken is already the nickname of one of Jollibee's products, ChickenJoy...

i've been asking the same thing...bees don't even look cute for real either. but maybe if they made the mascot chicken, it will be too common. kfc's mascot is chicken too. Jollichicken doesn't sound catchy for a name and has no recall.
it's like me asking few days ago as to why Hamburglar is in Ronald McDonald's group when he is a burglar??
