Okay this is a bit funny, as a while ago i have an officemate who was not feeling really well and she said she is having a headache... now this other team mate of ours stood up and said me too.. i think i am feeling dizzy right now. so we just ignored her... (she is always like that). Come lunch time, a friend was opening a can and she had a minor cut in her thumb... and then the same girl came to us while we try to help our friend with her stuff as she was cut... and then she commented "me too! i had my finger cut yesterday at home". so my other officemates looked at each other... he he we knew it!! im just wondering why she likes to do that.. every time someone was like having a head ache, a bad tummy, even a cut on their finger she would say "me too!" as if she just wanted people to mind her? do you know, or have you encountered someone who is a "me too" person? hehe

Yeah, there are a lot of "me too" people around here. But your case is rather strange. Usually those "me too" people will do that if they talk to someone smart (I am smart, too), rich (I am rich, too), or something related to high values. But being "me too" because you want to be equal to someone sick? Oh, goodness. I simply don't understand. But that's another human variable we must eat, right?

yes actually.. we were thinking this was the case so she will not be asked to help out. haha :D but i would agree with you on that people tend to like compete with others in this way but only with the positive and great things...

Hi chi.. This "Me Too" is a psyco syndrome born out of embeded inferiority feeling in ones mind which they try to compensate by behaving or pretending to be superior than others..they try to draw attention towards them...whatever the circumstances be ....attention is drawn in both conditions be it acclaim or accident here diversion of attention is prim not the incident. there are so many people in our fast paced society suffer from this ...its akind of struggle of existance...pity on them...if it is in serious proportions they need councelling..medical treatment and care by friends and society.

I think they say that kind of things, specially "me too" because, the never get the attention by themselves =S so, we have to understand them, be tolerant with them =)

Hello Chiyosan, How long this person had been in that company? i think it's time to get to know this person and asked why she is doing it. i don't know why but i find it disturbing. maybe she really has problem with this. I can understand, this can really be annoying. probably talked to some one who's not in her presence.so that she can really not intervene.so sad that this happen to here. "ME TOO"
