Sometimes many good discussions deleted by Mylot

I frequently have responses deleted because the discussion is deleted. Generally, I am well aware that the discussion will be deleted because I have either responded to point out that the person should read the Guidelines or I have tried to clarify a point which is already answered adequately in the FAQs or the Guidelines. Such questions are usually considered 'duplicates' because the answer already exists (if only the person would read it). Having a response deleted doesn't affect your reputation, though having many of your discussions deleted may do. It does, of course, reduce your 'User Rating' and earnings somewhat but that is only a temporary setback. The way to avoid having responses and discussions deleted is, of course, to know and understand the Guidelines and not to create discussions which are in violation of them nor to respond to discussions which you can be almost certain will be deleted. This is one of the ways in which all members can uphold the high standard of discussion which MyLot try to maintain.

My answers have also deleted due to these reason. It's not reasonable, but the admin just deleted it, what can we say?

Hi anurag, it has happened to me many times where I have answered a discussion which might have been controversial but interesting as far as I was concerned and find it being deleted. however, I really dont mind because a site like this has to maintain its standards and run efficiently, so the admin team will have to do what they have to do...All the best and have a nice evening

yes, i have also noticed and experienced that. most often it happens due to guideline violations. so now i am highly conscious in case of creating a discussion or responding to a discussion. your efforts should bring color.... right?

I had it ones too, because the previous or the topic under it was deleted. We felt bad on our part because we have meaningful responses and how come we cant control mylot, they are the ones who manage it, maybe its not an appropriate topic either but for us maybe its appropriate.

Well, I am only for some days in mylot and I did not face the problem my answers to be deleted but I think that you should continue to respond to discussions, it is very useful for the members in my lot to see the reactions and different poinrs of view.In my opinion sometimes deleting our answers affects our reputation but we should not give up,coz every person here shares his own experience in life.
