It depends on what she is craving. Diabetics should avoid "concentrated sweets" and too many fats. They do well with lots of vegetables, lean meats and whole grain high fiber foods. If they add sweeteners to anything the stevia plant is a good sweetener. Good choices would be brown rice instead of white, and vegetables over fruits, but some of everything is good. Processed sweets in only moderation.

I agree with you Garden, me and my wife have diabetes, we are careful. But it is Diwaly festival now, we will be eating some sweets!!

I haven't heard about pumpkin may control blood glucose level in your blood, thanks for the information Youless. I have to take this advice too, for my mother. ^_^
