Can Bullying Cause Suicide?

Do you believe that bullying can cause suicide or is it always because of a mental illness? I think that suicide can be caused by bullying or you can turn it around and say that mental illness can be caused by bullying. What are your thoughts?

i think it is possible but the person who is the bull isnt very happy to , you bull someone because youre feeling not good to so you wanna give that to someone else (not that it works...

i think bullying would put kids/ or even adults to a bad situation - such as having a very low self esteem... they will see themselves as not able, not deserving, and always the subject of mockery... they will have a hard time to build their confidence, in themselves and so they would / or might have the tendency to just end the bullying which can be equalled to suffering.
