Who cooks better in your family? Is it your Dad, your Mom, or you?

Or is it your other siblings?
My mom is the best cook! We all love her most in-demand dish which is in local term "laing", but of course there are other varities especially on occassions like birthdays or New years eve! I try to imitate her cooking though I know have my own style and preference too..
How about in your family, who do you think is the best cook?

My mom is a full-time careeer woman. I could not remember her cooking for us even when we were still young. We have lots of housemaids at home way back then that did the cooking for us. My dad however, during his rest days, was a home body and he has plenty of time to be in the kitchen! So my vote would go for him!

Hmmm.. in my younger years, yes. I was the only one among the 5 sisters in the family that knows how to cook. But honestly, I have not been in the kitchen for such a long time now that I am not sure if I still do know how to cook a good one! he he. But I am a good critic!

Not me, for sure ! I am the worst cook in the family ! Ha ha ! The best I can do is boil water. Even that, people don't have confidence on me. So, I have to go out to restaurants for lunch and dinner. Or, just be satisfied with those microwaveable packages.

I do like my mom's cooking, and I like her all dishes . . . but she's not all about variety like I am. I like my cooking - but I wish I had the time to cook more specialty dishes (it's hard with 2 little kids) - so I hope to go back into it in the near future. I like cooking all sorts of stuff - of different cultures - and not cook them all the time so as not to get bored. My dad - ha - I laugh because he boasts that he can cook anything - yet he never cooks. When my mom went to the hospital for a few days one year when we were kids, he cooked the same friggin thing every night - hmmmm - hee hee.

I like that "laing" and my mom also is one of the best person i know who can cook laing so delicious.
But,during our family reunion,me and my siblings cooks each special dishes.
It's always good that we know how to cook, then everyone has something to cook.

Without dout: my mother! She's the best. My father is also good, but she has that magic "something" with a very original mind that can create a good dinner even with the simplest ingredients ever. I simply can't cook. I suck at it: I just use the microwave...lol

My mom certainly, because she is the one who cooks every day. My father and my brother don't really cook, and I can only cook a few things, and I do this only when my mother is not home. She can cook everything, and I never met a person who didn't like what my mother did. So in our family my mom is the best cook, and I can say the only cook. She got her talent from my grandma, who also cooks very well.

you could search here in the internet, there are plenty of dishes that are easy to prepare and cook. look for simple ones that will definitely suit your taste and your cooking time. give it a try, skylark!

Its my dad who cooks better than my mom but he cooks only occasionally, like on brithdays or festival or holidays, once in a month sometimes. I feel my mom food is just the same all days, no difference. I am quite bored eating food cooked by her. I do cook myself sometimes but I suck at it. My sister also cooks good...mostly its my dad then my sister and my mom...

My Mom by far. She's great at cooking. Maybe I will be too someday. But as for now I cannot cook at all! I've tried sometimes but it just never works out when I attempt to cook something. So now I haven't even tried to for a long time. But I guess someday I will have to learn to cook better.

Yes, you will learn someday. It takes some time. Its a learning process, like a trial and error thing. You cannot do it good just by trying to do it once. Its a process.

I my family I think my mom cooking better. Because they always made good dishes and also they make tasty foods always. So my all family members like this food. I am also like to cook but I am not good in cooking. Because I need some experiment in cooking. So when nobody will be at home then I try to doing some experience in cooking. And I hope I will be cooking well something.
