Hi. lawerence65. Welcome to myLot! If bedbugs get to be that bad, I will move out. I will make sure that my new home is not bedbug infested too! These tiny creatures are so scary and sometimes it is very hard to know if you have actually gotten bitten by them too. I call these creatures, "the unseen vampires".

PLEASE tell me you're kidding!!! WHY would you want to sell a house that you aren't willing to live in to an unsuspecting family??? If you don't want to live with bedbugs, WHY do you think the next owner will??? PLUS you can treat your home & get rid of the bedbugs there now WITHOUT the expense of buying another home, burning & buying more clothes, etc. Anyway, if you don't kill the bedbugs you have now, you'll just take them with you!!!

Nope, and there's no need to, I'm proof of that. A couple of months ago, I had an infestation where I lived, my lease was up anyways and that's why I moved. However, we used the products we needed to use, killed the bugs by putting infested items on an extremely hot roof, vacuumed and washed everything we had, and we managed to get rid of them all. Then we moved to our house where there had been children, but no bedbugs. Infestations can be treated, there's no need to just up and leave, burn everything to get away from it. You will never fully get away from it especially if you take anything with you. The bugs can hide everywhere. If you only burned your clothes, but took your furniture with you, they would still follow as they could be nesting anywhere in your furniture.

Grrrr...creepy crawly critters. I think I would launch an all out chemical and biological offense before I considered waving the white flag and moving.
