Do you ever feel that you would like to go to sleep and nevr wake up? The last year or so has been a long fight to regularly manage money. every step that we have taken to cut expenses has inadvertently incurred some one off expenses, or deals have not been honoured due to small print. This has taken some toll on my general demeanour, and I was recently sent home from work to 'take some time out'. In my absence it looks as if someone has created grounds to get me into a disciplinary hearing. Everyone I know thinks it's a 'rubber stamp' exercise, but, being the type who worries about everything, I'm now concerned that I will find myself with no job this time tomorrow. I really do feel that it would be best if I just never woke up tomorrow- the insurance would take care of our owings, so my partner would be OK.

If you haven't done anything wrong, just stand up to it and be confident that you are in the right and have been set up. Prepare yourself to speak up in defence of yourself. If you haven't done anything wrong, no should be able to fire you or make you leave. Unless it doesn't matter to you or you absolutely don't care whether you stay in this job, then hang on to it, it's so difficult to get a steady job right now. Hang in there and keep us posted. Hope it won't be as bad as you imagine it to be :)

It now looks that someone went out of their way to slide a knife into my back. When it came to they were on very thin ice, relying on hearsay. At least we all know for next time. Very unpleasant experience. Thanks for your support, it all helps.

Hey sweetie. Since when do we care about others and there stupidity?? If you were send home to take some "time off", no one can do or say anything. Don't worry about everything. That only worsen things. Take each day as it comes and sort out each little problem one at a time, okay. Don't let this get you down and don't give up, okay. TATA.

Thanks for the kind words. I just have the impression that there is always someone trying to make your situation worse. I'm usually there for others, but never up to dealing with my issues.

You always cheer me up when i'm down in the dumps. Now, get that whiskey, hit the pool chair and relax, okay.

Thank you. I survived the exercise, but someone had sure tried to stitch me up. My supervisor is furious and wants to give him hell, but that would probably just rebound on me: so I guess that will be another iron I will have to keep hot for future use. Don't you just hate people sometimes!

i'm sorry about your situation and hope things will be better for you later on. i sure you will end up pulling through and becoming a better person for it all. just learn something from every negative and even positive and this can help you to come out of these negatives better off. yes, i've also had those feelings where i felt i could just sleep for a long time or around a week because of how down i felt at the time. happy mylotting and may your best days be ahead.

I'm sure that you are right. It just does not feel so at present.
