My bp was soo high yesterday at the drs again, which they were told by the hospital that it would be.Well i was really sick last night and i am not sure if it was due to the head aches that i keep getting or the bp,but the reason for the head aches maybe due to high bp and the sickness could have been due to that. The dr said that it was a way that the body copes,as i was also shaking aswell and that was due to bp and tempreture trying to cool the body down.

Low blood pressure can make you sick too. Anything that is too low or too high will leave you feeling ill and not quite right. Good luck getting your blood pressure down, those headaches can't be fun!

My blood pressure stays low but I never have been sick on account of it that I know of. I've always heard that it's better to have low blood pressure than it is to have high. I've always run a low blood pressure, anyway, and so did my mother.

Low is usually better then high, and many people have quite low with no symptoms. But some people have low bp and end up dizzy and fainting all the time, which is obviously dangerous. Also, if combined with other problems like low iron it can be a worry. But it is generally better than high bp.

Shall I tell you one thing jugsjugs. What is there to get a bp? why are you getting bp? because, lack of livingness. Most of us are not living n enjoying our life, rather, we are staying and passing our life. This is what the problem is.
so, lets be happy n enjoy our work and enjoy others activities (even it is bad), be as we, don't get too much of emotions (like

) rather we can have the emotions like
happy, cheering, enjoying, etc.
We don't get bp. live happily till your last day.

I find myself wondering if your bp was so high because of the grief the school is giving you over your son. You have a lot of things going on in your life to stress you out. Stress makes your blood pressure go up. Often when your blood pressure goes up you do not notice any symptoms until you are seriously sick.

I do not think that school has helped with my bp,lol, they stressed me right out that even today when i spoke to them i got black spots in front of my eyes and i could feel myself getting really hot and flushed. The dr has offered me another pill so that to let things be on a calm for me for a while,a form of anti depresant from what i could make out,but i said no,i am on more than enough pills now.

Dear Jugsjugs. not only your family is dependent on you but the affectionate cats too. Please take care of the health and try to reduce the BP. Do some meditation and try to calm down your mind. That will reduce the BP and head ache will also be controlled.

Yes, high bp can make you sick, if it gets too high, it can cause you to have a stroke or a heart attack. My mom has had two mini strokes, and it was because her bp was really high, it took them awhile to get it down and now she's on bp medicine that she will have to take forever, she has to watch how much salt she eats and things like that. Just last week, my aunt got put in the hospital because her bp was high, she ended up having congestive heart failure. So its really important to keep your bp normal, and it can cause headaches and stuff if its high.

That sounds scarey. Headaches, body trying to cope with it all. My daughter shakes but that is because of all the meds she is on. No fun. I have some high blood pressure problems due to over weight and lack of much exercise. I guess we all have some problem we have to take care of and watch out for.

I would check into this site: www.bioinnovations.net They have a book on nutrients that is very good. There is also a toll free number that you can use if you have questions. 1-800-635-2673 There used to be a talk show on the Family Channel by the same name that was very informative. I hope you will check into it.

Hi jugsjugs, how are you feeling today? Hope you are fine now. High bp tend to rise with age. Just follow the treatment plan that your doctor prescribes and have an ongoing medical care.
Have a regular exercise like climbing the stairs, walking and swimming. This aerobic exercise will help increase your heart and breathing rate. You can also do some scrubbing on the floor or raking the leaves in your yard or mowing the lawn. But do not overwork or do it strenuously. Start it slow and work more physical activity into your daily routine.
Get well soon.

Sorry you haven't been feeling well. High blood pressure can definitely give you a head ache. I can't remember the technical reasons why it causes a headache, but I can always tell when my BP is high...because of the headache I get. I also get sick when my blood sugar is too high. When your sugar is high and you don't lower it with meds, your body is going to get rid of the excess sugar some way. With me, I am diabetic, and I happen to have a bad reaction to several of the diabetic meds on the market today. I get sick within minutes of eating. It was so bad that I couldn't even eat at a restarant, because I would always get sick. They put me on so many different kinds of medicines and several of them just kept making me throw up right after eating. It was terrible! Of course the only good side of all that was I lost about 20 pounds...LOL. Nnow I am finally on medicine that doesn't make me sick, but if I don't watch my carb intake, I will get sick right after I eat.

The pills that say take before eating and then there are the other ones that say take after food, but they need to be took at the same time of the day craze me,as it is soo much faffing around to get to take them due to when you can eat.I have been given two lots of bp pills aswell as beta blockers due to other health problem,so i hope that these will soon start to work.

that sounds about right to me,as when you have a bad cold or the flu you shake, the body is a very clever thing,as for you being sick i'm not sure about that, all i know is that if i get a migraine then i feel sick because of the pain

I thought that all the constant headaches i was getting was due to some of the pills the dr and hospital had given me,but it is due to bp.What with the two lots of bp pills that they have given, aswell as beta blockers lets hope i will be like a new woman in a few days. They aint working soo far,but got to see the dr every two weeks,so he can sort it out, mind you i have also got to see the mac millan drs aswell,so one of them should be able to sort it for me.

I am not a doctor to give any medical advice. But live a very regulated life. I am 76 plus.As I remember I have never felt head ache and my bp has always been 120/80 which is normal I think. My experience shows that my good health is due to meditation which I do regularly in the mornings and evenings.Meditations are various types. The meditation which I do is known as Ana pana Sati, which was invented by Budha around 500 BC.It is wonderful cure for all ailments. It is very easy to do and nothing to do with religion. You browse in internet or consult a nearby Busdhist monestery and they will guide you.Remember I am not a Budhist myself...

First of all you should understand that God in His wisdom has created human bgeings with inbuilt curing system. It looks strange for you.But it is a fact. Many of the diseases can be cured without any pills.I am not here to insult doctore and teir medical system. They are excellent. Can you give me a reason that when you are in North Pole or sahara deert your body temperature is the same{I am not sure of the body temperatue.must be 98.4F}.who regulates your body temperature in the coldest or hottest place. It is your breathing. Therefore sit in calm place at any time.close your eyes and observe your breathing.Thoughts come and go.Don't worry.Concetrate on your breathing only.No expenditure, any place ,and any time. You fi d change in you in a fortnight.Tell me later.May god bless you...

hi jugsjugs high blood pressure can give you horrid headaches for
sure but I also have high blood pressure and am on three different
blood pressure medications for it. I hope your doctors can get
it down, I always have it a bit higher when I go to see the
doctor but if they wait and take it again in fifteen or twenty
minutes it will go down some. I was on steroids
for an allergy skin condition and it really made me ill as it shot up my blood pressure to 200 over 100 and my blood sugar too. So I ended up in the Er where they gave me a shot to lower my bloodpressure and insulin to get my bloo sugar down. I do hope you are feeling betternow. I still have this rash on my leg and my doctor does not know what it is so he is referring me to a dermatologist, I have a sinking feeling from the description of psorasis that that is what I have. I hope not but its been over three months and I still have it and its sore now. any way take care and
hope you soon feel better

Hi Hatley.Well i have got stronger bp pills now, aswell as all the other pills that they have given me to take for other things.I have got 8 pills to take in the morning and one of them is bp also another is a beta blocker and that may also help from what the vascular surgeons said today,so lets hope.Head aches, dizzy spells, also being sick i can not stand,so as long as i get rid of some of that i will be happy. When i get stressed or angry i can feel the bp going up and no matter how hard i try it will not go back down,i also think that going to the hospital puts it up,as i know they are going to increase pain on me,lol.I do hope that it is not psoriasis,as that can be caused by stress,at least when you get to see the dermatoligist they will be able to tell you, good luck.

I have high chlestrol aswell as high hemaglobin,so they are now having to look to see if there is a problem somewhere on the inside that they can not see or tell through blood tests.I am due to see macmillan team for my blood,as they are the ones that know all signs of what could be going on.

Yes, high bp will make you feel sick such as headache, tired, the heart pumping hard, feeling dizzy, and it could cause stroke as well. That is why if you have a high bp, you have to really take care of what you eat and alway do some exercise. But the most important is that you need to take the medicine regularly to reduce the bp. Some of the food like lamb meat or red meat will probably bring up your bp, so do caution on that kind of foods.

The hospital have given me stronger bp pills now, aswell as beta blockers.I feel soo ill when the bp go up.I have never been sick before through high bp,also i felt really weak like i was going to have a black out.The joke about red meat is that i have just paid for a whole lamb to be cut for me,as i was told i was not allowed to eat chicken due to other injections as chicken carries a risk of selonela, that why we got lamb.

Having high blood pressure is not a healthy condition. It's in fact dangerous because it can cause our blood vessel to burst or in worst scenario, suffer stroke. It's best that u take it seriously and keep it under control. Other than medication, u have to make sure u are eating right and keep a happy, relax mood throughout. That will aid in keeping your blood pressure down.

The American Heart Association has recommended guidelines to define normal and high blood pressure.
Normal blood pressure less than 120/80
Pre-hypertension 120-139/ 80-89
High blood pressure (stage 1) 140-159/90-99
High blood pressure (stage 2) higher than 160/100
As many as 60 million Americans have high blood pressure.

I have got hypertention and that along with high chlestol that i have also high hemaglobin is why they have me on bp pills aswell as beta blockers. They have just upped my bp pills and they are upping the bets blockers again in 10 days as they have to be very carefully putting beta blockers into a persons body.Thats with out all the other pills that they have given me for other health problems.
