This has been a long held discussion with my friends over the years. Could Communism ever actually work? True Communism not the current form we have in the world, honestly Communism has never existed in the world as a government, we have dictatorships in guise as Communism and some Socialist nations as well. So could it work out? I think the biggest problem is not the socialist tenancies towards helping take care of one another, but instead the issue is the government ideals. I can't imagine people taking charge and handing it over in a few years and actually deem the job as something serious and not to profit from. At this point I sadly don't envision enough truly altruistic people to have a constantly recycling top power without greed or hunger for power involved. What are your thoughts on it?

no, i don't think it would work or at the least wouldn't be as effective. every one gets paid the same no matter how hard one works so there is not motivation to get a promotion or look for a better means of living on the horizon. this makes people not work as hard at their job which lower production. its not a very upbeat way of employment and also who wants people to assign where they will work. i would never want that. that sucks

In my opnion, niether one will or would work out, comunism may make everyone equal, but that does not mean one may have freedom, and well capitalism no one may be equal, but then aga in we have so called " free speach" that gives everyone a false hope that your being listened...
realy, you could live in any tyep of situation it'll all still be the same... you are a slave now and you will be a slave then...
