Children at age one will not remember what was given and or understand the gift giving concept. Perhaps the child you are wanting to give a gift too will receive loads of toys so I would probably opt to buying clothes and maybe summer clothes since the child may already have winter attire. If she does not a nice coat would be a perfect gift as well.
