Its not basically baby sit because i am the father of whom i baby sit or taking care of, but seriously i find it really hard. My wife goes to work, our other kids at school, so i am left with my 6 months old baby. It would not be so hard if there is someone who can partly took care or look for the baby for a while for me to do other household chores, but there is no one, maybe i will ask my mom to stay in our house or i will just gonna hire maids to do other house hold chores. To conclude, i think its not gonna be that hard to baby sit if you are the baby's mother, its their essence to be exact, am i right?

Hi there,
first of all i'm glad that you are doing this for your child. Not all father do the same thing. Its true that its hard to take care of a child especially if its still less than year old. And sometimes the bond between the mother and the baby is different from the father.
Anyway, i know its hard for you but just put it this way, if we women know how to deal with men work then forsure you can do what we are doing. Just enjoy what you are doing, and i know you will be surprise one day your child is growing already.

Babysitting is not that easy. You can't do other tasks while tending the baby. You need someone to help you and men are not particularly very good at babysitting and multi-tasking as well.

If you are the child's father, you just as much "essence" as the mother. Men are just as capable of caring for a child as women and a woman can be just as capable of having absolutely no idea how to care for a child as a man. The idea that women are somehow intrinsically programmed with mothering skills is not true. Parenting is not a programmed skill in anyone. Some people are just better at it than others, some people just have no clue what to do. Your ability or inability comes from yourself, not your gender.

I agree to what you have said. Women are more patient and hey have some special knack to take care of kids.
