Since when do you have your mobile phone? I have it for 3 yrs. I woke up to the fact that I am the only one not to possess a mobile when I saw my maid too bought a mobile was carrying happily. today all have, even beggars , I was shocked to one fellow who is a regular beggar at the railway station, to talk merrily over the phone. he might have got may be a cheap china phone from somewhere. so mobile phones is no more a luxury and a thing of awe.

I just turned 18 when I got my first cell phone. That was almost 22 years ago. I lost count how many I had since then. It never know a cell phone or having a cell phone was a luxury/thing of awe. It's just a phone.

It was a luxury in India back in 97-98 . only business or marketing managers possessed mobiles and they were expensive too!

I usually change phones once a year, and sometimes a little sooner. I like to keep up with technology, and since my cell phone is the only phone I have and use, I want to make sure I have a good quality phone, one that I can use for awhile. Now, I just bought a new one last week, as I wanted to get a Galaxy S phone, and I bought the Samsung Fascinate, and it is the best phone I have ever had or ever used. I don't know what I would do without my phone, as I would be lost if I didn't have it. I do take it with me wherever I go. Take care, and have a very good day.

I got my first mobile phone 11 years ago, I have had around 30-40 mobile phones since then. No they arent a luxury any more, everybody has one, they have overtaken the landline market. I like the phone I have now but may get an upgrade soon.
