Hi Abhish,
Before my Illness, I was never the kind of a person who would stay at home. But then, maybe because of this attitude or whatever I was affected by this illness and today I have only my home where I can do anything. It is my world today. I enjoy staying at home, working on the internet and also doing almost everything from here.
Yes, Staying at home without a regular job has its advantages like I can read anything that I want, I can listen to any music that I want and also watch any movie that I want. Thanks to the Internet. I just wonder what life would have been without this and it seems that for me it would have been miserable.

Yes right! See? Staying at home doesn't connotes "boredom." You can earn more money Sids since you're just at home but it's not necessarily mean that you'll exhaust yourself in working much. Give time also to relax since you have an illness.
Get well soon! Thank you Sids!

Thanks for your wishes Abhish. I am gaining confidence that I would be healthier in the near future and would also be able to fulfill my roles and responsibilities which have been neglected for long due to my illness.
Take Care,

Traveling is fun but a lot enjoyable to spend quality time at home and it's less expensive then, right?

I'm also a home buddy. I love spending my time just making money from home but it's hard because I still need my job and I have to leave home everyday.
But if I have enough money then I won't just stay home. I love travelling, so I will love to be able to go to places I like instead of spending my money on shopping and buying things I don't need.

same here.. i also like spending most of my time at home. i just go out from home to work but after that i always stay at home. going outside home for a long time or just going shopping or having fun dosnt make me feel comfortable. it is hot out there, crowd and traffic everywhere do not suit me. i love a quiet place just like my home.

I'm a home buddy too. Although it's fun to go out with friends and just hang out once in a while, I still prefer staying at home and just relax from work.
I make sure that Sunday is my me time which means that as much as possible I will just spend my time at home all day just to rest before Monday comes.

Yes Sunday is actually the best day for me too.The weekends are my favorite part in the week. When time to break, I would surely rush home and sit back and relax...

Yes I am. I only go out of the house when I need to do something very important or when I need a break. I love staying at home, watching tv, browsing the net, using my blackberry and sending messages to friends. I go out to shop once in a while or to unwind from my usual routine. Other than that, i'd rather stay at home and enjoy the sound of the rain while sipping a cup of coffee and feeling cozy. :)

I'm neither an entirely home person nor totally outgoing.I prefer a mix of the two.Sometimes home atmosphere and food are ideal after a difficult day.If one eats out repeatedly i would crave for home cooked food. But at the same time i'd love to travel and explore new places.I'd like to work in places where i haven't got the chance as it will broaden my horizon.Working from home all the while i feel would set us back as we wouldn't know how the world around us is changing.

Picjim we are likely the same in terms of loving to explore. I do love traveling and visit different places just to taste their different foods. But I don't like exotic ones. You've mentioned eating in restaurants, how about those street foods?

I use to be a hopper, going from place to place and enjoying be the life of the party. These days I really enjoy being home with quiet time and doing virtually anything I like on my own. I do like to go out from time to time but find that I am ready to go home after the first hour. So I suppose I have lived out the whole hopping scenarios.

you're like a grasshopper then! lol...
sometimes it's tiresome to go out and out specially when you do a lot of strolling! Give time to your self to relax your legs at home and try new things which you haven't done like painting for instance! I love painting...!

Personally, I despise going out. I am a total home buddy and neigh on a hermit.
I much rather prefer to stay at home. I have even thought about grocery shopping online and have them delivered! Banking and those affairs are easily taken care of online, and a fresh gallon of milk is just around the corner. I have been trying to find ways not to go out.
I know some folks say it is not healthy to stay at home, but I think that it has it's benefits. I mean, the savings on gas, wear and tear on the car add up, not to mention I never miss a phone call!

Miner I guess your shoes needed you to run or walk for a while and savor the heat of the sun outside. It's fun being at home but let yourself explore also what's happening outside of you.

a certified home body. i don't like going out much. i really prefer staying at home. when our professor dismisses us early, i would go straight home. unlike my classmates who will go around somewhere first before going home. when i am somewhere, i usually feel like going home soon.

I also love staying at home.. always looking forward to just stay here all day but since I have a full time job during weekdays, have a class on Saturdays and have to see my bf and family on Sundays, very seldom that I can stay a whole day at home. I also enjoy staying at home than going around the city.

I am a homebody. It is exciting to get out of the house and do new things.. but I do not do well in crowds, and don't like to get stressed out with my kids in public. Usually when we go out somewhere it's all of us as a family. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it doesn't, depending on where we go, how enjoyable it is, what the crowd is like, and how the children are behaving.. as well as what our mood is like. During the week while hubby is at work, I prefer to stay home. I will go to my gym, and do my grocery shopping when I have to, and maybe bring the kids to a playground on nice days... but aside from that I'd much rather be home!

I am generally a home buddy. But I wouldn't say that I hate going out. Whenever I am with my friends, hanging out with them outdoors is always fun.
I just am not so fond of night life though. I only get to do it very rarely and that's when I am with my friends or when there's an occasion.

I think I am a homebody most of the time. I don't know if it's because the whole week I'm stressed out at work that I just love to relax and unwind right at the comfort of my own home. I used to watch tv, videos a lot. But when the internet came along, I'm now watching less TV. And it's interesting to note that internet also gives you earning options while doing something you enjoy, in my case, it's writing. And did I mention I also love sleeping? That's what makes me love being at home :-)

Hi there abish,
I myself prefer to stay at home than go out.. I am an introvert and I don't go out much with friends.. Even when I was still single, I never really liked going out anytime I get some free time.. If I am going to a mall, I would probably be with my boyfriend. But not with a whole lot of friends.. It happens very seldom.
Right now, I am a stay-at-home mom.. I got lots of things to do at home, and I don't go out that much.. Not unless if I am with my family.. I still enjoy even if I am always at home because I can do many things here.. I can surf the net, can watch movie marathon, read books, sleep and rest..And take care of my family..
I don't see anything wrong with staying at home most of the time.. It doesn't mean that I can't do anything productive here..
