As we know that China is the 2nd biggest and strongest country in many aspect. Its economy now standing 2nd leaving Japan behind. India at the other hand is the giant who rose too late but still making fast progress. I read somewhere that India will defeate China in the long run, suggested by some Expert. They said our economic growth will soon touch double digits (before 2013) which is now consistently 8.5% or around. But Chinese economy is 4 time larger than India. So what do you think can India really outpace china or its just juice less stat? Please share your thoughts?

Population? What do u think about the population in India then? They have restricted the growth by telling one family one child, else India might have taken over China in Population a few years ago !!!!

Aren't you guys missing a vital thing here? Population is not a huge problem as long as we can provide work for them. I kinda support the step China took to check the population. But in a democracy like ours, the government just can't intervene with the citizen's family planning. Personal liberty plays a vital role here. All we can do is to encourage and aware our citizens about the real issues. A large population, however means a large human resource waiting to participate in the economy of the country.

Cant really answer the question cause india has the fastest economy but everyone around the world depends on chinese products, If those products stop then china stops, thats how i see it.

Some products were banned in India because they were made of low quality plastic that could potentially harm human hygiene as well as the environment. We need to remember one thing that a stable growth is more important than even a faster growth. The main objective should be to build an economy that stays healthy for a considerably longer period, without harming the environment, of course.

This may create a sense of uneasiness, but India is just a juice less stat if they continue with the way they do things and the government handles the people. I have a company setup in India, but unfortunately it never was successful. The people there just wanted power and they do not want to work. So my company failed to be setup there. China is the same, but the difference is that they are hardworking ? I have a company setup there, but I believe it has started and sustained over several years. I don't know what happened, but I know when something is wrong.
