One of you must be hands on with your daughter. Never leave her care to a nanny. The child-parent bonding (voice, skin, smell, etc) is important on the first seven years. Never baby talk your child. And you can teach her all the languages you know. Read to her and count everything you see. Sing, dance, play, draw, swim, travel, eat, sleep, and most importantly, pray together. Don't worry if she breaks an antique or stains the linen. Teach her to be careful next time and explain why things must be kept neat and tidy. But never shout at her if she commits mistakes. Enjoy parenting!

My daughter is almost two, and is my first. i find myself constantly at a loss as to what to do, the baby books give contradicting advice. Feel it out. Do what works for your family. The thing I have found is that my child needs routine. We have a morning routine, and if we deviate from it too much, we do not get everything done. Her bedtime routine, is a bath at about 7, then we read 2 or three books, then we go rock in her room with the lights off, listening to classical music. She goes down pretty easily, and only occassionally gets up in the middle of the night.

thanks!!it's a wonderful advice..the thing is we don't have any fix schedule..still ill find a way, this is a starting point for us specially now that she is starting to mimic every thing that we do.we are afraid to miss important thing for her..we cant just pause and rewind time is a just a blast..
