Well I just found out I did recently, well sort of it's been almost 2 weeks. They finally brought pest control to my apartment complex. I don't know how I got them but, I notice it when I woke up with all these bites on My body. At first i thought it was my allergys acting up since I went to my father house and i was playing with the dogs again. I show it to my mother all the bites I had like ten on my leg 12 on my back 10 on one arm. Few on my other arm, some on both hands, under my arm pits.
I got them because of my roommate. The day she came back from her family house that's when it all started. So right now she isn't here she is back at her family house while they are cleaning my apartment. I told her come day or 2 before. I'm not going to put all her stuff in a bag her clothes and books. The leasing lady told me to get rid of all books and stuff and out all clothes in bags and wash them after they clean the apartment. Or when ever you feel is best.
Move all furiture sofas, etc 2 feet away from the wall. And pull out the rug and take out the wall plates. I did everything and she didn't help all she did was say can you put my stuff in a bag I can't go up there I don't have gas. Then she says I got to go. So... I'm very angry.

I have not had them. I think that the climate here in Winnipeg is too extreme, too cold in the winter, too hot in the summer for their survival and I do check everything very carefully. However if I were to wash my things in hot water and also put them in the dryer including the ones that I cannot wash as suggested on Dr Oz and Rachel Ray if I did suspect or to prevent them, I would get a high electrical and gas bill in the mail. Yet if I sprayed the ddt or hired a professional exterminator, my house would not be fit to live in.
So it seems that these bed bugs are invincible worse then the scorpions I heard about. There is nothing that can kill them that does not have a worse effect on other things.
I do plan to get a mattress pad but I have other things that I have to get first. I hope I never have them. Maybe they should not have banned DDT, or maybe they should have invented a natural solution that does not require that one has to practically dismantle their dwelling place to get rid of them as you had to do.

I never heard Winnipeg haha. But yeah I heard that these bed bugs have been breaking out eveey where and the funny part is 1 out of 2 peole wil lsee there bite marks others won't. So 50% of people will see the effect of a bed bug bite. But i guess I'm the one that see it and noticeable to everyone. They even got me on my neck which is upsetting but, hopefully this pest control got everything out and more haha . But yeah getting rid of these bugs are hard. You can bomb your house with one of those bomb sprays and they will still live maybe just be slow down lol. How ever what can you do.. Hope they are out for sure. Rumors are that they are infested in one town fill with them. People don't know where they are coming from

No, I have never had bed bugs. I understand that they are very hard to get rid of. She may have brought them from her family. They come in suitcases.I understand that there are some large offices that are infested by bed bugs. They use dogs, specially trained to sniff them out. I hope you get this under control.

See mines isn't out of control I honestly can see none of Themis check every where I threw away almost everything but, still didn't see any of them and e pest control man look and said everything looks fine but, I'm still getting bite up. I just don't think there is 100 of them maybe 5 I think so . But I pray that this will go away and my room has to wash her clothes in hot water very hot water, throw Way her blanket and take her car to the car wash down the street. Hope that it's all gone. Right now I'm piss. She brought them and didn't even help not one bit just had her same excuse I don't have gas.

There was a time a few years back, when we had a lot of cane furnitures, and there were a lot bed bugs crawling not only in the bed but also in the cane chairs and sofas. In fact when we used to tap the cane furniture hard, the bugs fell down, and we had to squash them. Then when we painted the house, we used the insect repellant paint and slowly, the bed bugs started disappearing.
Even though we do not have any problem with bed bugs, we still have problem with termites. Whatever we do, these pests come back, particularly during the monsoon season.

We had bed bugs when I was a child. But they seemed to be in only one room in the house, the room I shared with y sisters. It took my folks a long time to get rid of them, but they were not able to hire a professional exterminator. It was very uncomfortable living with them, but we all survived and eventually the house was rid of them. I was only about 7 or eight years old at the time & I don't really remember what they did to get rid of them. But all of the clothes and bedding were always washed in hot water, and the bedding was washed almost everyday. We weren't allowed to keep our clothes in our room, or toys, or books or anything. We just used the room for sleeping until the bed bugs were gone. it was not much fun at all.
Good luck getting rid of them.
The reports I have heard about the bed bug infestation that is currently sweeping the United States indicates that the exterminators may need treat the property several times before they will be gone for good. Also, it may not have been your roommate who brought the bed bugs into the apartment. It is possible that they were brought in in a grocery bag, or a bag from the department store. Bed bugs have many ways to travel and they have been infecting all sorts of places and can travel from almost any of those places into your home surreptitiously.

There was one company that I worked for in the past that had so much bed bugs. Eww there are just terrible. They bit me all over my hands and my legs even my neck. They went inside my drawer, on the table, and also on my chair! How disgusting. It took so many days for the pest control to get rid of them because we also need to empty the office and they were too many stuff inside. Then my boss also got our office repainted. I was just happy and they were finally gone and the best of all was I had a week paid off while the pest control was operating

Well, I have faced this problem earlier and spent some sleepless nights. I got rid of them only after pest control. How they came I don't know but it was really awsome.
