Does texting affects the grammar and the spelling of the teenager nowadays?

Not only for teenagers but adults also. I can see how people are chopping up words even during emails and articles. I do not do so when I write as I prefer proper spelling. I do see that you are fairly new to myLot so a very warm welcome to you.

Well not for me because when I text, I text everything correctly. I do not use slang or anything because I have unlimited text messaging so I rather just type everything out so the person I am texting understands me :)

It does but not for me. I know how to write in my own language properly without any frills. The thing is that in Dutch if you don't put any frills what you say you come off as being too smart. So yes, I do use some words and sentence constructions you could see as being grammar decay.
