Dumbledore's Army

Introduced to us in OOTP, as a study group created by Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ronald Wealsey. In OOTP we watch Harry Potter teach Dumbledore's Army Defense Against the Dark Arts. What Harry doesn't know at the time is he is training his troops who fight front line alongside the Order during The Battle Of Hogwarts. The Army's numbers grow dramatically, including some magical creatures who respect the Chosen One.
They are Loyal to Dumbledore, even in death and will risk their lives, to brake through the Dark Riegn of Lord Voldemort, and get back the Hogwarts and world they once knew...or die trying.
Who is your favorite Dumbledore's Army Member?
Mine is Longbottom who proves he is a true Gryffindor.

Oh favorites, I like so many, lol. 
I like the character Snape, and I do realize he is part of the order but not a member of Dumbledore's army, at least not Harry's part of it. I must say that I too am impressed with Longbottom he really proves himself worthy of being part of Dumbledore's army and a true griffindor, but I also must mention Luna Lovegood, protrayed as an airhead, but is definately a Griffindor, loyal and brave, and not as airheaded as first protrayed!!

True. I really can not wait to see it all in action, I believe there will probably be as many tears in my eyes from touching moments like the brave thing Neville does, the Emotional Fire burning inside Mrs. Weasley as she stomps accross the great hall. [wonder what thats about ;)] as much as those sad moments when we have to watch a beloved character die.
I think I will probably bring more then one box of klenex to both parts of the movie.

Me too! Can't wait! I think I will need klenex as well. I can really see, even though it dosappointed me at first, why they needed to make two movies out of it. Too much backgraound and action to jam into one movie, those who didn't read the book would be lost.

True, but Longbottom has been an important character to the story from the first year straight through, he will furfill an important role in the upcoming movie, and prove he is a true Gryffindor.
I'm not sure if you've read the books but in those there is a lot more information on Neville that is only implied for us to see in his character rather than told in the movie.
As for Snape he is another very important character to the story, as Snapes story intertwines with Harry Potters.
The upcoming movie for sure will be the best, of them all.
