Well, your son is a lucky boy that he got an xbox for his birthday, that is something that we would love to have at our house. As far as the games to get him for Christmas, it will be easier to pinpoint what he will want as the holiday season draws nearer because there will be a lot more commercials for video games. I know that if he likes the shooting and war type of games you could always search Amazon for different games that are available in the genre and then be able to eliminate from there.

Have a look on game as that is where there are all the latest releases that are due to come out, there are loads of different call of duty ones,i have pre ordered the one that is either coming out in October or November. The other great place to look is play.com.These two sites explain the games aswell as show captures of the games.Hope that helps if not there are sites on Ebay that will always answer questions.

Hi Doormouse. Have you seen the xbox kinect? It's a sensor which connects to the xbox, and detects movement, so you can play interactive games, but you don't need controls or nunchucks. My neices and nephew are getting this, and some games for it for christmas, but they're really small, so they'll get things like kinectimals, etc, but I'm sure there are some games for it which will be suitable for older kids. BTW it's around £124 for the kinect box itself, so depends if you're looking for a large pressie, or just the games as little add on pressies.
