I heard somewhere that dandruff is caused by fungi and sunshine kills it. Maybe try to soak in the sun every morning. Have you try nizoral? It is also good for dandruff. or selsun blue. Rinse your hair everyday but do not put too much shampoo for it will dry your hair.

oh. olive oil is also good for scalp, but husband did that before when he got dandruff. I put olive oil on his scalp and massage it gently so that it will penetrate. Leave for about 5-10 minutes then rinse.
But try to find the reason of your dandruff. Sometimes if you are stressed you will developed dandruff or if your scalp is too dry. It can be due to poor nutrition or sudden change in weather. Or in worst case scenario you have psoriasis.

If dandfuff is more than normal it is best to see a doctor. Using shampoos dont help much. Otherwise medicated shampoos. Also using ayurvedic medicines is also good and it wont cause any problem to skin.

I find it very helpful to put a spoonful of vinegar in a glass of warm water and rinse my hair with it after shampooing.

Have you consulted this dandruff problem to the doctor? That's because some of us sometimes are very sensitive to dandruff (our head skin). Perhaps the doctor can give you special shampoo which is suitable for your hair and head.

I used to have problem with that too. I tried head and shoulders too but my friend told me that head and shoulders caused her dandruff. I was shocked cause it a anti dandruff shampoo yet it caused her dandruff. I still tried that product and it had good results at first. After some weeks, it got more dandruff and worse than that is that I got falling hair. I think the components of head and shoulders are too harsh for my scalp. I stopped using it and stick to the remedy I have known for years.
What I'm talking about is calamondin which is locally known in our country as calamansi. after shapooing my hair I rinse it. Then, I squeeze two or three calamondin in a dipper of water and pour it to my scalp. After that, I also rinse my hair with water but I make sure that my scalp will not be rinsed by the water. Maybe also use lemon if calamondin is not available in our locality.

Try a medicated shampoo such as nizoral. Also; identify whether it is dry dandruff or oily dandruff.
I have dandruff myself; and I used to put natural youghurt to dry it.
Also, when you wash hair, make sure you remove ALL soap and that while rinsing, the water comes out clear from your hair. And massage your scalp while rinsing.

Head and Shoulders can only help a little and only fo mild dandruff. If you're getting a lot, it may be a health problem. The cold weather makes our skin drier so it could be this. Dandruff usually means that your head is shredding more skin than normal - are you eating too much dairy foods? Probably best to cut back and watch what you eat. Plenty of water and try to include a portion of oily fish a week. Could be a good idea to see the doctor about too. Don't use too much shampoo and make sure you rinse your hair thoroughly, as the residue can irritate the skin. There is a medicated shampoo especially designed for dandruff - T-Gel shampoo, it's pretty good, and brings relief after the first wash. As soon as the problem is taken care off, you will need to stop using it as it can cause lumps and boils to grow on your head if you use it too often when you don't need it. Hope this will help. Best to see a doctor. :)
