Who do you think will win the playoff games on this Friday night? The Phillies look to take a commanding 2-0 lead on the Reds with another Roy going on the hill this afternoon. It will be Roy Oswalt this time, after Roy Halladay's no-hitter on Wednesday. The Reds will counter with Bronson Arroyo, arguable the Reds most consistent and proven starter. Surely the Reds will manage a hit in this game, but it will be hard to overcome the defending NL Champions and their loyal fans. I look for the Phillies to win 7-5. In the other playoff game tonight, it will be the Giants looking to take a 2-0 lead as well over the Braves. It will be Matt Cain versus Tommy Hanson in Game 2. Both are young, but I believe Cain will have the advantage pitching at home and Hanson has struggled on the road this season. Giants 4 Braves 2.
