Still Think Sarah's Not Running?

From the link below you can read the e-mail sent by former First Dude Todd Palin to GOP Senate nominee from Alaska Joe Miller after Miller refused to answer questions about Sarah's qualifications to be President:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_upshot/20101006/el_yblog_upshot/todd-palin-slams-joe-miller-in-leaked-emails
Among other things Todd wrote that "Sarah put her a$$ on the line for Joe" and "...please explain how this endorsement stuff works, is it to be completely one-sided."
Kind of sounds like Todd was looking for a reciprocal endorsement from Joe, doesn't it? Or was he just being a "Papa Grizzly" defending his mate? My opinion is that she's running, you betcha! God must have told her to go through that door.

I certainly hope there is no democrat who would be so obnoxious as to ask if Sarah Palin is qualified to be president. Obama has been the lowest of low - any viable candidate who loves this country will be a better President. And as a bonus, she has no need to hide her birth certificate.

No we wouldn't have to ask because we already know the answer to that question and I'm sure she would just put her birth certificate on twitter for everyone to view.

She wouldn't even win the Primary...let's be serious about this. There are several other potential Republican candidates who could beat her easily since running for president is vastly different than being the candidate's attack dog on the campaign circuit. Palin is not qualified because she's a nut!

Good to see, Annie, that you, like all flaming liberals, are still gunning for Palin, as you do for all conservative women.
No one that I know of in recent political history has been so maligned and had so much opprobrium heaped upon them as has she. She must really be a threat to you all.
I don't particularly care if she runs or not, but I do admire her for standing up to all the fools who have nothing better to do than discuss what she wears, as opposed to using their energy in a just cause, such as finding out, legally and constitutionally, just who the usrper whose behind is in the WH (or on vacation, or on the golf course, where he belongs), and is dismantling our country and usurping our freedom and sovereignty, IS.
Democrats, guilty of treason since the 2008 election are famous also for their backroom deals, scratching each other's backs, and diverting much money to each other, quid pro quo, so why should Repubs be reamed for endorsing each other verbally? Good for the goose, but not for the gander?
And, by the way, why mock God and support only radical feminists, who play only poltically correct cultural Marxism, racist, sexist politics?

Good to see that, no matter what the discussion is about, you can be counted on to bring the Obama eligibility issue into it.

You do your share of spitting on the Constitution, too, when it comes to the eligibility issue. Personally, I would think that the economy is the most vital issue of the day.

Thanks, spalladino; I'm glad you noticed. Not only is it the most vital issue of our day, this lawlessness is spreading like a cancer as others, like Damon Dunn, appropriate his MO. If our Constitution continues to be spat upon and ignored like this, from the top down, we will not have a free country, no matter who is "running" for what.

She can run all she wants but don't think she has what it takes to lead this country or do anything else. Also she would just do what every other Republican or Democrat who has run and won go in and support the big businesses and take away the rights of the people.
Also she has what a 22%- 37% approval rating? I mean that is a long way to go in order to win an election.
So she has to do a lot to get people on her side the problem is she is viewed as an extremist and in the United States as a whole the extremes of either side are disliked and can she really fix the country...No she can't as she will just do what every republican has done try to turn this nation into a corporate welfare state and take the rights of the people away. What we need for a president is someone who isn't a Dem or a Republican as both of these parties hate the United States Constitution.

I don't think so she is recognized by a good majority of being a Christan Nutjob so we don't want anymore of them look we don't need another Bush in office which is exactly what she would be.

Look, I don't think Obama's a Muslim, okay. I don't buy that secret one-world government stuff, either. And I really don't care if he goes to church or golfs. And Michelle can have a garden. The fringe is always in a tizzy about something. Oofah.
Oh, sorry. Wrong side.
Here, I'm supposed to say more of: "Who does Palin think she is daring to even live on the same planet!?"
Same plot, basically, but different characters for different responses for different justification for sending a mattress that you're never going to sleep on back for a loose thread on the label.
PENNIES! *shouted in my best South Part 'TIMMY' impression*

..Hi annie, Sarahlee wants to run, she really thinks she can be elected president of the United States because a segment of the GOP party or whoever they are stand up and clap like seals when she is cheerleading. This is her fantasy, let her have it. Ask Jeb Bush if she could be elected. The Wilson man could not let the words come out of his mouth that she is qualified, as he knows her. They all know her, she is an airhead, she does not read, does not study. Evades, runs from questions with filibusting speech. They know her, she will have a hard time getting nominated by her party unless they are crazy. Now, if W hadn't done what he and his pseudo father Cheney did to this country, maybe she would have a chance, but the days of trusting "C" students to run the ship are gone.
If and a big if, but possible, the Afghan war ends, there are secret talks going on now which may lead to an end. Then the billions that are being spent over there will be put into domestic spending with jobs and the economy improving. Then she can run if she wants if they let her crazy legs out of the gate, but no one will be able to take it from Obama. So run Sarahlee run, she would be the easiest one to beat. She can't hold a thought, she is not writing in her hand as a joke.
Take it easy.

...annie, You are right and they never will. The other point is that they don't want to be seen as endorsing her over anyone else in thre party. The GOP has a tiger by the tail with this one. She is getting all the attention, literally leaving the others in the background as far as exposure goes but there is no substance. Then some of the people she gets behind start winning, whether by luck or possibly knowing enough to present a credible face, and she's growing stronger by the moment with her reputation as a king maker. So it's going to be interesting to see if they can tame her. She does not want to play second fiddle again, Todd will take your head off if you try to downplay her viability. I actually think the two of them are deluded enough to think that they could run the country, Bill and Hillary they are not. Take it easy.

Mark it down in 2012 Sarah will be running for the Republican nomination, she will lose but that is not important. Sarah has this image that she has more relevance than she really does. She see all of those supposedly hand picked candidates that she endorsed, Fox News love affair with her, and the Tea partiers admiration as a sign that she has wide spread support which she doesn't.
Todd probably thinks that Joe Miller owes his wife respect which might be just be a Papa Grizzly doing his thing or maybe he is acting on behave of his wife as the attack dog? I wouldn't put it past Sarah and her lust for glory to order her husband to go on the offense on her benefit of course.

Isn't it amazing how those who love her think EVERYONE should love her and that there's something wrong with those of us who don't. I'm not jealous of her and I've never "attacked" her for having five kids or for keeping her special needs baby. It offends me when people accuse me of that because I'm not some heartless monster. I don't hate her or wish anything bad on her or her family.
I just don't want her ANYWHERE NEAR the White House or the Capitol! I disagree with her on most if not all of the issues but that's not even the point. I want those in charge of our government, regardless of party or ideology, to be intelligent, well-informed, intellectually curious and to have the temperament necessary to work with others for the better good.

So did this newspaper published a private email? I have been wondering why would Joe Miller share this private email with his staff, who's to say that he really did? It seems to me any one asking if Sarah Palin is qualified is a stupid question. Sarah Palin has been an effective mayor in her state and she served as Governor of Alaska two in a half years. We presently have a President that was elected with a very skinny resume. It appears to me Alaska democrats are jittery about loosing in November so much so they have stooped to smear tactics same as democrat Jerry Brown in California.

She was down here in Florida yesterday and she said that she'll run if the American people want her to. So, is she planning to put up a poll on facebook or will she just *know*?
Not a bad way to test the waters and to guarantee more media gigs, I'll give her that.

She might run but I can't see her getting the Republican nomination. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against her but I don't think she has what is needed to be President. I think the first woman President of the United States should be a Margaret Thatcher type.

I don't think she has what's needed either...surprise...lol! Jb, I agree with you about Hillary. I think she's perfect for Secretary of State. I'm not sure what her views on many issues are but Condoleezza Rice is one from the other side that has what it takes.

while i wouldn't wish another thatcher on anybody i think you are probably right. i don't think a woman who wasn't hard as nails and actually intelligent would last five minutes. your clinton seems, from what i can gather, to be more or less in that mould. you probably have a few on the other side too. palin is not one of them.

You could be right. She might be running for president in 2012, but I hope not. As much as I like Sarah Palin, I can't see her as presidential material. She's great for cheering the team on to victory, but I can't see her carrying the ball.
