Why is it important to God that You Believe????

In the pyramids, people have discovered writings that have airplanes, helicopters and other modern day stuff. Nothing from that time. And the pyramids itself are proof of a greater being. Even til now, nobody can make those without the use of the modern day tools. If not proof of a god then, proof of a greater being.

I only proves that people have always had some form of religion in their culture but But asks yourself if the gods existed and were real why did their society die and does the pic on the wall describe what happen to them and anything about and Unknown God

What proof of these other gods do you have? There are only statues left of their existence or being worship.

If God exists, then He can be found. If it is good in God's eyes, as you say, when one believes in Him, how much happier will God be when you actually discover Him???? God doesn't have to be a belief. Thanks for your comments!!!

gishanhair01, welcome. Do you know the reason God doesn't directly speak to more people??? God has very high intelligence. Added to that so many people see what they want to see rather than what is, and people come out of the conversation confused. Everything you do in life will come back to you in time. This is God's way of teaching.God sets the parameters of your life along with the people you come across but we each make our free choices. It's up to each of us. Praying to God can be no more than a simple thought. People do pray and beg God to take their problems away but God is the one who sends the problems. We learn to not only stand on our own two feet, but also we become smarter and stronger having overcome the problem. If you pray to God and ask for something and it will not change the lessons for you or those around you, then God will give it. It wouldn't make sense to stop the lessons simply because things are getting a bit tough. Where is God hiding?? All knowledge must be earned. In the struggle to attain knowledge, we acquire wisdom. All the secrets of the universe stare us in the face. Can you see?? How long did mankind watch birds fly before they figured out how?? It's all a test of intelligence. In this cause and effect physical universe, God's actions can be seen. Knowledge runs deep beneath the surface of things. When you start to understand why and how things work, you will see the genius behind it all. Maybe at this point, your view won't be so narrow and you can discover God for yourself. God exists whether anyone believes or not. People often think that the way to discover God is through religion. There are many ways to discover God. Deep down we all know God. Who knows the reasons people choose to ignore this fact. Regardless whether one believes in God or not, will not change God or the goal for His children. So our faith in God makes God feel good but isn't necessary. Parents would take care of their kids regardless of their kid's beliefs. OK! I can go along with that. So Jesus Christ is a great teacher. Hmmm? That could very well be true, however Jesus has not been around for a very long time. All information as to anything Jesus said was not written by Jesus but by mankind. Everybody wants to rule the world is deeply set in mankind. The question remains. Should one look for God in a book??? I never found God in a book, but I did find God. Should you follow others to find God??? Isn't it a journey we must each discover on our own? If one just follows, one could end up anyway. You will never find God in a box so neatly packaged by religion. You do have the power to discover God. Perhaps, one must be brave enough to walk in undiscovered country to make the big discoveries. I know that is in each and every one. After all, you are all special. You are children of God. Interesting view. God is not what religion teaches. God does exist in more than a simple force. Do you know why God doesn't come out and talk with more people???? If He did most people would come out confused over the experience. God is very very high intellect. Mankind has such narrow thinking. You could not believe how that limits mankind. God has shown me mine.I work on my narrow view everyday. You are right. THe golden rule is always good advice. Don't give up the search because you believe God is a force. Please forgive my bluntness, but your responses make me want to gag. Instead of sounding philosophical you just sound nonsensical. How can there be a mutual sharing without belief? God may stand at the door and knock, but until the nonbeliever comes to an understanding that God does exists and makes the effort to let Him in there is no fellowship.

Is belief really necessary for fellowship???? I don't think so. A belief is no more than a patch that covers the unknown when all the facts are not known. They keep us from locking up like my old computer. God wants us to know the truth. He wants us to discover it all for ourselves. It will take a very very long time of learning not to need a patch of some kind with the knowledge God has. One would never find fellowship with your view. Thanks for your comments!!

There is nothing to forgive. I request that everyone comes to my door as they are. Just like God wants Be who you must! It's a part of the plan!! If someone knocks on your door, you don't need to believe anything to answer the door. You know something is knocking. That's a fact. The proof that God exists falls on the ones who search. Interaction with God does not depend upon beliefs. God doesn't need your belief to shape you or your life. Since God is capable of creating universes, He can surely teach a few kids. God to me is not a belief or a faith. God is a fact just as I know you exist. I could never ever base my life on beliefs for I must know the truth about everything. A belief is no more than a direction to search for the truth. I hope you don't stop at believing. Beliefs aren't always true.Can you base your life on something that might not be true???? My first sentence says plainly that life for man isn't just about survival. That higher intelligent life form (God) didn't create us to live by instincts alone. I agree that God wants us to know, but you have to believe first. True believers don't doubt, they have every confidence even if they can't prove to the worlds satisfaction. They know. God may not need our love, but I believe He wants it. When you say, "...we will love Him," I suppose you mean everyone? I don't agree with that. I believe there are many who hate God for whatever reason. I believe a lot of the people who say they don't believe in God really do but have become angry with Him. I think you can find that with some of the so called atheist here on Mylot. The tone of their discussions or responses shows their hatred of God.

You simply do not Understand!! God's Unconditional Love feels so good that you would do anything for it. Why do you think all of God's children want God to take all the problems and troubles away???? It's because we are all spoiled. We all have known God's Unconditional Love and want nothing else. Kiddies must, however go back to school. So true believers in your words never doubt. Isn't that foolish since a belief might not always be true. God wants us all to question. That is the start on the journey to wisdom. It's religion that doesn't want you to doubt or question. Is life just about survival?????? A higher intelligent life form might describe mankind as living on instinct. Everything is relative. God doesn't want His children to merely believe. God wants His children to KNOW!!! God loves all His children unconditionally. God has no need for us to love Him. This might sound funny to you but God already knows we will love Him.

Isn't it only Ego that tells people mankind is the smartest being in the universe??? Faced with even the possibility that God exists, shouldn't one search for the truth???? Have you been taught there is no other way to God than through someone else??? Have you been taught communication with God is only one way???? Have you been taught the only way to God is through beliefs??? Seems what you have been taught is limiting you to the possibilities. I must admit there are more religions in the world that I don't know everything about, probably several hundred. The basis of religion is beliefs. Is it important to God that you believe??? Hardly. Hell does not exist except in the consequences returned to us. Some say they seem like hell. Religion has been using hell to scare those who won't believe into believing. Heaven, on the other hand, does not exist as described in holy books, however we will all know God's unconditional love that will heal all hurt.There is nothing better. Thanks for all your comments!!
