Most of the people have heard about gout. But they do not know what gout really is. Though there are several treatments available for treating gouts,I have heard that there are several home remedies for treating it. Can any one help with the home remedies?

I have been told that drinking Cherry juice will help. What you need to do is neutralize the uric acid in your body. Nettle tea is supposed to work wonders Here is a website that has some info if you are interested.
Hope this helps. The Cherry juice helped my friend.

My dad also has gout. when he has attacks we massage his joints with ointments but none of them seem to lessen the pain so he reall has to take medication.
I'd say you just have to avoid eating food with too much uric acid so your problem wont get worse.
As they say, prevention is better than cure.
