What Made Audrey Hepburn Legendary?

Audrey Hepburn is one of my favourite actresses of all time. In my opinion, she was not only a wonderful actress, but a wonderful person. She came about when classic beauty was appraised and won over the critics with her elfin look and she was always one step ahead in style. She never followed fashions but was always classy and always stylish. I just adore her. But what about you? What do you love about Audrey?

For me it was her beauty. My first glimpse of her was in Roman Holiday and the movie appealed to me as a teenager because I too was a bit naughty. That movie for me was like a fairy tale come true and I loved fairy tales as a child. So Audrey Hepburn always had a magic quality about her that for me, never went away.

I agree. She did seem like a fairy tale. I think what was even better was that she was always so humble about everything and just made her so charming. I think the magic has to come from her strong spirit- I certainly know I wouldn't be strong enough to have survived through the Holocaust like she did. I know she wasn't in a concentration camp, but she was in a Nazi occupied village and sometimes had to bake grass to eat it. That is some perserverence there!

I think I have read every Audrey Hepburn biography there is to read out there! LOL! She was a pretty fantastic woman. I go through phases where I become obsessed with a star, but the ones that always remain constant are Audrey Hepburn and Judy Garland! (Oh, and Gregory Peck, LOL!)

I feel the same like you. Audrey Hepburn is just so pretty and elegant. She is just like an angel. She is also a kind person. She was keen on the charity business when she grew old. So she is a real angel.

She was really elegant! And that woman had class like I have never seen before. Seriously, she and Grace Kelly are just in a league of their own. No one can ever compare to them in terms of grace and elegance.
